    Manager not allowing me to serve the complete notice period

    I am working in an automobile company. Recently due to the problem of not getting any promotion, I applied for resignation. I have served just 1 month of my notice period till date and now 1 more month is remaining. But now my manager is telling me that they have already appointed someone in my place and thus donít want me to serve the rest of the notice period. What should I do now as I am afraid of getting into legal trouble later on?

    Hi friend

    If your manager has himself told you himself that you can leave the company right now without completing your notice period, then you should not worry and thus do as he says. But of course you should take some precautions so that you wont get into trouble later on. You should tell your manager to give this to you in writing and get it signed by him so that you can keep this as proof and thus dont face any trouble in the future regaring the serving of full notice period.

    So you should certainly not think of completing your full notice period against the will of your manager but go and speak to him in this regard. This will be more helpful to you and I am sure your manager will help you in any way he can. Also this will save your time and you can join your new job earlier. So tell your manager that you are ready to leave the company now but to avoid any trouble later on , which can destroy your reputation, you want to get this in writing and thus get it signed by him. So if this matter comes up later on, you have proof in your favour.

    I hope you get my point friend. Do what your heart says. Good luck for your future.

    Dear Friend!

    I would suggest you to discontinue your job form there without complete your notice period. And collect all the documents from the company and try to get a new job with another company. It will be better for you instead of doing job for one month more in notice period. Otherwise you may be tolerated by your manager to complete your notice period.

    Hi...........,

    Suggestions--------->
    * You can not get into legal trouble as your company has delegated you.
    * Do one thing make a written resignation letter by company .
    * Where it will be proof that company had forced you to resign as he had appointed other.
    * Then you can challenge the company in court that you have been terminated yet one month period was left.
    * So in this way you can trouble the company if needed.

    Thanks
