Manager cut one day salary for going out 2 hours for job interview

No one is permanent to any job. Everybody is in search of a better job to what they are doing currently. I think any employer also should be cooperative to this as whenever I go out for any interview he always cut my salary. Is he authorised to do that?

This has always been the plight of the private sector that the boss owns the permission to do any thing whether good or wrong , moreover he has the liberty of firing any one at any time out of the job even at such a minor reason and that fore one can not raise his voice even against the wrong!
But no this is no ways correct to deduct your full day salary just on the pretext that you moves out for 2hours!
If really he is so much strict and miser then he may deduct half day salary but full day salary is not at all acceptable.
At the same time you dont have any other better option. So stick to this job till you find a new and a better one and soon after getting it resign this post and yes at the earliest make all money formalities go done else such managers create a lot trouble in giving the salary and other things after leaving the job.

    Hi,

First of all, you must not be straight forward and share all the information of day to day happennings with you boss or with your colleagues. You should be able to tackle such incidents in a more sly manner. none of the firms would give you leaves or would leave you free for hours to face interviews in other organisations. So, plan accordingly and try giving some other reasons for leaving early or going in the middle of office hours. Do not give the actual reasons in future.

    Thanks,
    Ritz

See if you will tell him that you are going for an interview in other company and that too in the office hours how least time you take your employer will definitely not like it. See every employer will want that his employee considers his company best and remains in the company. This is a bit natural thing. And as you hurt his sentiments by going out for another interview he will definitely respond in such manner. So next time if you have such appointments don't say that you are going for an interview give some other excuse. You must have one thing in mind that he is your employer and you will have to work on his conditions. If he doesn't want such things than you will have to follow him or you will have to bear such expenses.

    Hello Friend...

This is completely not the correct manner to do so.This is completely the unfair means to do so.

You should ask for it with the higher authority.

There should be some liability for this type of conditions.

After asking with the higher authority, you will get some solution of it.

    Thank you...

    hi
i can understand your problem, but dude, this is the reality of the corporate private sector, in which if you are not available even for an hour, then you wont be paid for it. and as you have gone for the interview purposes then you can easily expect a deduction in your salary. you cannot claim for it anyhow. therefore from now onwards, try to schedule your interview wither on the sundays or before and after of your current job timings and even if it is not possible, then take a day off and then go for the interview.
    gud luck

    dear friend,,,
surely you are right at your place but in view of your manager you are wrong.
if you appointed there means you have to do your work properly and sincerely there because they have hired you to perform the job.
if you don't perform then obviously manager will cut your salary.
if you to go for some necessary work then you should take permission first.
in that case no one can cut your salary.
so,always go step by step and don't violate the rules.
    thank you !
