Late night accident in office cab, driver fled leaving injured editors

I work till late hours in the newspaper agency. Recently, there was an accident in the wee hours of the night. Next day, we are expected to be present in the office on scheduled time. What stand should I take as it is kind of dangerous?

You can quickly work complete and come to the your house before 7 pm
You must care full this things .
You can tell the problems of late night journey to your management.
You can complete work fast and go for your home.
Many car drivers night driving is too dangerous because they drivers drink them.

You can request to your higher authorities that they should allow you to work in the early hours of the evening so that you could reach to your house within the right timings and with no difficulties.
And a separate safe cab should be provided to you while dropping you home at late night and if these arrangements cannot be make, then tell them to provide a room for you in the premises of the office so there cannot be any problem which might arise during the process
