Late comerís 5 days salary deductedin the name of late coming

My colleague usually comes late in the office. His salary for 5 days has been deducted in the name of late coming. Recently, he snapped at me regarding the same and has blamed me for the complaint. I am not involved in this issue. Should I discuss this with my boss?

    Hi friend

If your colleague comes late to the office , its his fault and you should not feel guilty for the same. Its his wrongdoing due to which he has been given the punishment which he rightfully deserves, as per the rules and regulations of the company. He has no right to put the whole blame on you as if you were the culprit. He should have realised it before doing such a thing as coming late to office every day in continuity. So friend you don't take any unnecessary tension and try to teach him how to behave with his colleagues.

I think before going to your boss, you should discuss this matter with him. Tell him that you haven't had anything to do with the punishment he got for coming late to office everyday.so he should not blame you for something you haven't done at all. You really don't know who complained against him to the boss but you can assure him it wasn't you. Also rather than repenting now after getting the punishment , he should not have came late to the office for so many days continuously ; in the first place. So you hope that he will stop blaming you and will mend his ways so that he does not have to suffer again.

Now if your colleague is sensible he will apologize to you for behaving badly witrh you and for unnecessarily putting the blame on you. But if he is still adamant and blames you even after this interaction of yours then you should definitely warn him that if he doesn't stop behaving with you in such a manner you will be forced to complaint to your boss regarding this matter. Then he would be himself responsible for getting reprimanded by the boss again.

Then I am sure your colleague will mellow down and stop behaving with you in such a manner for the fear of getting punshed again. Then your problem will be solved otherwise you don't hesitate to complaint against him to your boss if he doesn't have the sense tomend his ways. This will teach him a lesson that he will never forget. Then I am sure he will never blame anyone uselessly throughout his life.

    Good luck friend
