Joining letter, freedom to choose subject, selection of programming language, study leave, drawbacks, designation and tips for Wipro WASE?

I am a final year B.Tech (Biotechnology) student and have been placed in WIPRO recently via on-campus drive. I am keenly interested to take-on IT as my career. I have the following questions regarding WIPRO:
    1. When can I expect to receive the joining letter?
    2. Being a student with Biotech background, is it possible for me to become a bin 1 employee? I have sound knowledge of C. Any tip on this will be very helpful.
    3. Since Wipro will provide me freedom to choose my stream, which one should I choose to get maximum onsite opportunities and career growth? I want to be in developing apps/software and not in testing. I am confused between core JAVA and .NET. Although I do not have any knowledge about any of these, I am planning to start preparing for this. I have an option to do a winter training in .NET. Should I go ahead with it or learn core JAVA? Any other suggestion is also welcome.
    4. Will Wipro provide me study leave if I decide to do MBA in future (after 3-4 years)?
    5. What are the possible drawbacks of not having a degree in IT or CSE on my career?
    6. How long and what does it take to become Module leader in Wipro?
    7. What will be my designation when I join?
    8. Any other useful tip about working in Wipro.
    Thanks in advance.

Re: Joining letter, freedom to choose subject, selection of programming language, study leave, drawbacks, designation and tips for Wipro WASE?

    Hello Guest !!

your solution of the above problem are as stated below :-

    sol.1:
your joining letter is expected to arrive after 5-6 months of the recuirement.

    soln.2:
since you are selected in WIPRO.so you must have the concept of programminglanguage, wheather you know it or dont know.
so you can learn it within the given time period.

    soln.3 :
    you must choose developing field.
so for developing field java is mandatory,so you must learn java first and if you get time than have a look at .NET too.

    soln.4 :
see, every company have different funda for them.
some comany afford study for their employee and some company dosen't.
so it is better for you to get it done by the company itself.

    soln.5 :
not much affect but some affect will take place .
because IT/CS degree is just a proof of having technical knowledge.

    soln.6 :
first of all try be a god employee of wipro.
if you are able to be a good and punctual employee, than soon you can be module leader.

    soln.7 :

it depends upon the field which you have opted for.

    soln.8:
    just be updated.
