Generally any company increase the salary based on the following factors:
1. Employee performance
2. Experience
3. Company Profit
By considering all these things they will increase the salary.
So to get increment first we need to do hard work. for every year the company will increase the salary of the employee.

In TCS, you are evaluated on some defined parameters. These parameters are defined in the goal sheet that your manager prepares. the goal sheet is prepared based on your tenure in the company and exp level. The more you are close in completing goals, higher is your appraisal...
The increament is effective from the next month you recieved it. So wait till you get a letter from your HR that wil give you details fo your appraisal if you are eligible and also if you are not eligible.

If you are working there for more than 2 years then you can get a salary hike surely this time...
The company has faced good results last quarter year in share market...
It has also given dividend for the share holders...
So you can get it surely this time but the increments are given after this quarter......

For the last 2 years TCS has not increased the salary of any fresher. SO this year too its highly unlikely to see some increase in salary.
Then again if you get projects and towars the end of one year if you have very good rating then you will get bonus plus they will change your designation from asst systems engineer to systems engineer and you will get a salary of 3.41 instead of 3.16
Hopefully we will get some increase.

in time to time. Actually I would like to say that TCS is private company , then it will provide you Increment based on your
work performance, if your performance is good then company hike your salary range just double at present salary range within
1 year.
