If I opt for a nursing shall I be asked to do practical too?

I am interested in medical field and wanted to proceed in the same too. But I have a little problem while taking medical line as a professional line because I am quite afraid of doing practical projects with animals and human bodies. So,If I do a nursing course then will I be facing the same problem?

    Hi,

First of all, these things were banned by the Educational Ministry and there are only few selected institutes where such things happen.
You can't kill innocent animals just to study what's inside their body and then trying out medicines on them in order to check the side effects.
    This is a crime.
As a nurse, you won't be asked to do all this nuisance.
Being a nurse, you should be good as doing basic things and assisting the doctor.
You should be aware of all the equipments and accessories.
You should know how to put stitches, put on plaster, provide first aid and many more such things.

    Bye

    Hi......,

If you opt for nursing you have to face practical---->
    * There are different field of study in nursing.
    * If you study animals then you have to face such practicals.
    * You may be said to bring a dead frog and then in a lab plate you need to study its parts, veins, structure etc.
    * If you study with plants then you will be said to bring different category of plants for deep study.

SO you must be bold and aspirant for achieving your target...

    Thanks

    Hi friend

What you are talking about is a thing of the past and thus now you can take up the nursing course without having to deal with such things like doing practical projects on animals. These things dont occur anymore due to the ban imposed upon them. Ofcourse there are various labs which do animal testing in various parts of the country but they are only allwed because those experiments are for the welfare of humans. Even in MBBS colleges now-a-days these things are not practiced anymore.

I am an MBBS student and thus have personal experience in this regard. In our course there were no such things done and thus we too breathed a sigh of relief. So you should do where your interest lies and not restrict yourself dure to such things. You will surely be very successful if you do waht interests rather than doing something other in which you have no interest at all.

I hope you understand my point. Best of luck for your future. Good luck and Thanks

    Hello,

I find little bit of discripensy in your liking and your action.First of all there is a big difference in being a doctor and a nurse.A doctor has much more responsibility than a nurse. You can go to the medicine section after finishing MBBS,but in the initial stage you have to deal with practicals related to human physiology and anatomy.Even if you become a nurse you have to assist doctors in surgery cases. In both the cases you cannot avoid practical work related to human or animal body.So think before you take any further decision.

    hello,
being a nurse you wont be asked for practicals. they may need you in the O.T to assist them, to hold the equipments. but killing animals for the sake of practice is crime.

    Goodluck
