I badly want an increment in my salary this time but my boss is asking me to wait for the next time

I am working in a MNC. I badly want an increment this time for some personal reasons but my boss is asking me to wait for the next time . This is not fair at all as I have been working very hard throughout the whole year. How to get justice in such a situation?

In some company the increment in the salary take place every year.If you ask the increment in the salary before an year then it will create problem to you.Every one will have personal problems we have to with stand the problems and should run the life. You are working hard so you will get increment but if you bother the higher officials like this then they will get vexed with you and will not give any increment....so work hard you will increment but you don't bother them always.......
    thank you

If you want the increment then rather than speaking to the boss you need to go to the highest level person of the company by writing an application mentioning the reasons that why you like to get the increment, and what all things that you did for the company from last one year, you need to also describe the performance of your for the company because after that they will take any action.
Just writing the application will not work so you need to take one more option with you.
As you said that company is ignoring you to get the increment, then you also need to ignore the company in terms of the work thats my policy, all you need to do is to give the walk in interview in any of the good company to get the higher salary and the increment as well try it many of the good campanies so that you can have ample of options in front of you.
After that if any of the company gives you the good package and position then accept the offer letter and go to your company with the resignation letter mentioning that due to net getting the increment in need you are leaving the company, and it will be the shock for them.
They will insist you to not leave the company and after that you need to ask for the written that they will give the increment from which date so that you can have the proof with you.

    Hi friend,

Here are some ways by which you can get a chance to ask your boss for a pay raise:-

    1. Make sure you have leverage.

    2. Be realistic, during a recession period, some companies will not be able to provide pay rises without also endangering your job.

    3. Don't be Afraid.

Though it can be hard toget a pay rise, it's worse to fall into the mindset of not asking for a pay rise, ever.

    4. Choose the right time.

Successful requests are all about good timing. what have you done within a demonstrable time period that has made you more valuable to the firm or organization.

    5. Know your company's policies.

    6. Know what you're worth - objectively.

    7. Review your work history.

    8. Prepare a list of your accomplishments.

    9. Thank your boss for his or her time.

This is important regardless of the answer you've been given.

    10. Dont take it personally if you get a refusal from your boss.

    11. ask your boss what you can do differently.

    12. send a follow up email saying thank you.

HOpe i have helped you in getting the relevant information.

    All the best

    Thanking you...
