I am not feeling well for the past few days but still am forced to complete my work by our boss

I am working in a government organisation. I havenít been well for the past few days but inspite of that my boss is forcing me to complete my work. He is not letting me take any leave even though I am feeling so unwell. What to do in such a situation when your boss is acting in such a manner?

    Dear guest,
the professional relationship between employee and boss must be good so that they can efficiently work.
so,i think your boss should let you leave if you are really feeling unwell.
but still he is not considering you then in my view you should go for the medical check up and on the basis of that you may take the leave.
i think after seeing the medical background your boss must let you leave.because he will not go out of the rules and regulation of the organisation.
so,first go for the check up and on the medical ground ask for the leave.
    thank you !!

    Dear Aspirant,

In fact it is not good to behave like this.Health is wealth & an healthy person/employee only can work.So need not worry.Get a medical certificate & enclose it with your leave application form & submit it to your boss & avail your leave for your desired period. You should enter on your leave which is on your credit such as casual leave, earn leave or medical leave.Even if you are not in a position to take medical leave, you can leave the working place by submitting your leave application to your boss.In general you should enter on leave after its sanction from your boss, but in emergency, you can go on leave by mere submitting it to the boss.Submit a medical fitness certificate after you recovered from your illness.

No one can do any thing if you produce medical certificate. So do it as stated for yourself.

    Thanks & good luck.

It seems that your boss is thinking that you are only trying to get away from the work, and also he is not believing that you are not well, so in such situation you need to prove that you are not well by your health and require a leave to get well soon so that you can work effectively in the organisation.
This behaviour of the boss in the organisation is everywhere so they need the proof to show that your health is not good , so you need to go to the doctor and get your checkup done with him and after that if their any problem exists then you need to take care of that and also you need to take the reports from the doctor of your illness and also told them to write the level of complexity in the health right now so that your boss can see that how much bed rest id required so that you can take the leave according to that.
If your boss still not giving you the leave then show those reports to the higher authorities and complain against the boss regarding the same, because if there is your leave still remaining then he or she cannot force you to work if you want a leave.

    Hello

Well this is really said that in such a pathetic and weak condition you are required to work!

If you are a permanent employee there in that government firm then , good news no boss no one can pressurize you to work in an uncomfortable situation and you can take leaves against your pay and later while joining back once you recover then at that time you can represent all your medicals everything.

But if unfortunately you are not the permanent employee then , you cant take any step out of the way as you chance of getting permanent entirely depends on your performance and for that you have to do your work or the project at exact time!!

Still carry the prescription of the MBBS doctor you are getting the treatment from and carry it away with you to the boss and request him for providing a leave of just 2days atleast so that you soon be able to recover and get back the work with all efficiency.

    Try
    Good luck

    Hi Dear,

Instead of panicking and whining, you need to act professionally and smartly in this situation.

All you need to do is, consult a doctor and request him to give you a medical certificate which will enable you to take leave with proof and also force your boss not to overburden you with work but allow you to take proper rest.

Moreover, whenever such a situation arises, instead of stretching yourself and spoiling your health and begging for leaves without a proof, always seek assistance of a doctor and take help of a medical certificate to avail your leaves because this is more legal and an easy way to get leaves.

    Thanks.
