As an HR what are the ways to retain employees, when they are leaving the company on the rumor that itís under loss?

I work in a small software company. I work as an HR and there are some 150 employees working in this company. Recently lots of people are leaving the organization because of the rumor that company is under loss. As an HR how can I control this and protect the employees from leaving the job?

    Dear..

Everybody in your organization seems to be in a fear and it is obvious that nobody wants to work in a organization who is working under loss. The Following things can be done to retain employee :-

    1. First of all mail them in clear cut words that company is in sound condition and no need to get worried. Also tell them to not to spread such rumor as it is harmful for both company and employees

    2. Plan something that can improve the manager and employee relation and it will result into increased confidence in employee

    3. Plan an event and fix the date for it after 4-5 months and tell them that all the person have to participate. This will create a feeling in the employee that company is not gonna shut down.

    4. Encourage the hardworking people, Plan small activities and also you must follow a fair pay system\

    5. Start new activity like birthday wishes and anniversary wishes that will make the employee feel happy.

    6. Delete the possible cause of the rumor.

    Hope it will help

    Cheers...!!!

    Hi friend

This is really a very serious and tricky situation for you and you as an HR must really do something fast before a major chunk of your employees leave your company..I think firstly you should see from where this rumour is arising and try to stop it at its source so that more employees dont hear about it..

Then you call all the employees of your company together to your office or better address them at their place..Tell them that this news about your company being in loss are false and completely baseless rumours and as an HR it is your duty to tell your employees about the reality..Their future is surely secure here and so they must not worry about it..If possible do give some proof showing your profits and tell them that the company is doing well financially..

Hopefully your problem will be solved ..Good luck
