    HR handed over 3 months salary and asked to quit after maternity leave

    I was on maternity leave but after joining back, the HR has has handed over 3 months salary and asked me to quit. I have never faced any eerie situation in the office till date. Should I clarify the issues on my own as they are bothering me?

    Hi friend

    Your HR has no right to ask you to quit the company without giving you any prior notice and that too just after your maternity leave is over. You should certainly get this matter clarified from him and not let such injustice happen to you. You should definitely not quit if you haven't done anything wrong and thus should not leave your rights like this. If this is bothering you so much you should get it clarified fast.

    Go to your HR's office and talk to him. Tell him that you want to know the reason for him handing you your 3 months salary just after you came back from your maternity leave and asking you to quit. You have always served this company faithfully and never done anything wrong. So why he is behaving with you in this manner. You want to retain this job as it is your right and you want to know the exact reason for his behaviour if you have to quit.


    I am sure your HR will be ashamed of his actions and your problem will be solved. All the best
