    HR departmentís irrelevant policies about clothings

    Prior to every annual general meeting, our HR department organises an open sessions. In this session, the HR manager pointed that female workers need to wear sari or salwar suits only. Also they mentioned that the orders are from higher ups. This year, there will be markings for unprofessional dressing. Is there any way out to handle this issue?

    Hi friend

    There are dress codes in many companies and the employees are required to abide by them. So i think the same is in your company also and you should try and abide by the same. You should not complain against this but try to abide by the rules of your company.Then only you will be able to maintain good relations with your boss and other senior officials.If your HR manager has told you to wear sarees or salwar, then you should definitely follow it.

    Thus you should see that you wear the dress code from now on so that you don't get marked negatively for your unprofessional dressing. If you are working in a company, you should try to follow the rules and regulations even if you are not comfortable with them. Still you should try to adapt yourself then only you will be successful in this company and will reach greater heights of success.

    Hello,

    Every organizations maintains certains dress codes in their office and the
    policy is universal. As a employee you need to maintain the dress code as
    far as possible. You need to show a bit of professionalism here. Adaptibility
    is the name of the game. If your fellow colleauges have no problems as such
    regarding the issue then why can't you adopt it with a positive mind.
