    How to write the warning letter to non performers of the company before giving them show cause notice?

    We have one employee who has joined this company 3 months before. People who had joined with him have picked up work very easily. This employee is not able to perform well. We tried our best to help him out but in vain. My manager has told me to write warning letter to him. How to write the warning letter to nonperformers of the company before giving them show cause notice?

    Hi Friend,
    Warning letter is known as PIP- Performance Improvement Plan and most of the company does it for under performers.
    Please set a plan for his performance improvement and set the goals for him for next 3 months.
    Once employee gets PIP its known fact that if they can not meet goals they will be terminated from service.
    If after three months still the employee is not able to meet the minimum goals and you can not see any improvement, then discuss with HR and give him the notice for termination.

    Dear, asker first of all you should watch over his performance atleast for six months and try to help him,if he continues with the same things then you can write a warning letter mentioning about his performance in the organisaton.and tell him he is given last chance to improve if he continues with the same things he will be terminted.

    Hi,
    As he joined three months back you can give another three months to improve his work. Set formally through hard copy about his goals for next three months.
    Ask him to go through the goals sheet and if it is ok to me sign the form and handover to you. So that after three months also he doesn't show improvement you can send him termination notice.

    Here is the format that i would like to present you in order to write a letter expressing warning to the employee for not performing.

    There goes the letter format:-

    DATE.

    TO
    MR.
    DESIGNATION.

    SUB:- WARNING LETTER.

    MR.

    It has been observed that since your joining you are not performing upto the level that has been expected, resulting to put you in the list of non performers, which is directly resulting in willful insubordination and gross negligence of duties, in your capacity as -----------.

    Performing below the level is making yourself liable for necessary action.

    You are hearby warned to develop your performance, failure to do so shall invoke appropriate action.

    You are futher advised to submit a written explanation on your poor performance as soon as you recieve this letter.

    Kindly treat this as very urgent.

    For company's Name.

    NAME:
    DESIGNATION.

    REGARDS.

    Hello Sir,
    you need to put the warning letter through mail so these are the steps
    1- in to field refer the candidate and the higher management or hr,
    2-in cc Attach all the higher managements of that department .
    3- in subject specify warning letter for Employee name and iD.
    4-in message dont write more just make it presice and make out the faults point by point such that he could know his reason for warning.
    make it grammer error free.
    put your signature in the end.
    if any escalation mails attach it with the mail or any policy violation mail.
    then send it to the person with an advice to take care of the issue not to happen again.

    hello sirit is so sad that an employee is not working upto parameters of job or designation.you should call him personally and dictate all criteria of doingf work.if he is not showing interest in your explanation then you should write him a simple not on a legal paper of company about his past details of working.you should write him to attend his work with full of concentration and a target should be given him for a time period like one months or two.in paper you should write full details of his designation, department, date,subject of written letter.it will be simple way to him for warning.thanks u
