    How should I resolve this problem as HR of the company when the employees are not paid the salary correctly?

    I work in a small garment manufacturing company. We have some 250 workers working and 10 employees working who take care of administration part. Workers’ wages are paid correctly and if it is delayed they never bother us so much. Only problem with the employees, their salary are not paid in time. Most of the employees are threatening to leave the company if their salary is not paid in time. I have been trying to explain this to my boss. He is not listening to my concern. What should I do? How should I handle such situation as an HR?

    I recommend you to please try to set up a new team, or making a proper accounts department to take care of all salary issues, which is in direct contact with the employees. You can also arrange a meeting with your current employees to talk on the same issue ans ask then to take it more seriously else there will be problem for them also. You should create strict policies for the employees taking care of salary issues. This will surely help your organization.

    Dear Aspirant,


    You have not mention the reason for not being paid the salary to the employees in time & who is responsible for this problem.It may be due to financial crises in your company & it might be being done with the consent of your boss.Snce the company has to pay more to its employees,Your boss might be thinking that the works would be managed even with the workers even in absence of so many employees.So your boss might be in plan to be free from these employees.

    Need not worry much.Just keep your boss informing the facts & try to find out the reason for not proper payment to the employees.If you don't find the fund shortage,issue a transfer order to the employee who is responssible for making payment to the employees & post some good employee.

    If you have fund problem,you can do recession to some of workers & employee with due notice to the employees.

    you may also try for some other organisation.

    Dear Friend!

    You are working for Garment company as HR position. You are the head of company below company GM and owner. So you have to right to take action against it. And you can solve this issues easily. Because all the company's workers and staffs are working under you. You need to find our the the major issues why they are paying incorrect salary, There may be they are getting commission for that. So please don't worry about it. Find the issues and fix it asap. You can also terminate them from the job if you get any issues by them.

    Dear Friend

    Salary not given on time is worthless some employees may need their salaries at time as they may be in a very critical situation if they dont get any money then the results will be severe fro your company..

    You should arrange a meeting with higher authorities urgently try to convince them to give salary to the employees on time..

    Then arrange a meeting with the workers and the higher authorities so that the workers can explain them their problem of not getting the salary on time..

    Also if there is a fault in the accounts department then you can rearrange the team and give them a fresh restart so that the salary problem does arises again..

    So be calm show your managerial skills that you have learnt from experience at present time..
