    How to refresh yourself during office hours?

    We have 10 Hours of working period. Two tea breaks and one Lunch break. Still we find very difficult to work. As our work involves mental attention. We get tired very easily. Please give us tips as to how to refresh during office hours. Are there any simple exercise which can increase our interest and stamina to work?

    Tea and coffee is ok but try to refresh yourself by getting some fresh air.Go to balcony or somewhere you could find some fresh air,it'll help a lot.Try some soothing music at times to freshen up a bit.For your eyes close them and with your three fingers gently make clockwise and anticlockwise movements, it will give rest to your eyes and u'll feel fresh.

    When you get stress then you have to walk in a office or stand straight rise your hand and band front side and from your hand finger touch the earth...and watch some funny clip or comedy circus ..may it will be beneficial for you...and do your work as your work..

    Work stress is highly danger for us.

    To refresh youself :

    1. Keep your environment around you with lot of energy.

    2. Talk with people around you.

    3. Dont be moody.

    4. Simple head rotating exercise which you can do it by sitting at your desk itself.

    5. Make your breaks interesting like talking about other stuffs except work.

    6. Weekely once organize a small game activity where you people can enjoy and relax.

    It is not very urgent but urgent to feel refreshed during office hours.if you do work in loaded counter it is necessary to be refreshed.how you are to complete the refreshing procedure without getting complaints from near and dear customers.suppose you enered at your duty and you are to render customer service up to 2pm at a stretch.just at 12noon to 12.10pm you go to toilet for 2 to 3 minutes by this time you are to complete natural call and wash your hand and face and drink one glass of water.doing these important task you get feel refreshed.

    No real mantra for this yaar. Try being interactive with your friends and enjoy whatever work you are given. Tea breaks are good for a little mind fresh.

    Take regular breaks and thats it. You just have to deal with it.

    Make sure you enjoy your weekends to the fullest else you wont have any interest at all for working after the weekends. Because when you enjoy you become happy and the stress that is their with you vanishes and you come to work in the office with a fresh mind. And rest as much as possible after work. Because your body needs as much rest as your mind.

    it is very commonly problem seen in most cases..
    first thing eat good food don't eat such things who make you sleep...
    in every time of interval just take a little break get up from your chair and walk around...
    do gossip also if possible it will also help you to get over from it...
    and don't do any work continusly give some time in between..

    A good refreshing drink like orange juice or have a cup of coffee during office hours

    Take a break and do something completely different. It will help you focus on your work even better afterwards.

    Eat some nuts, fruit or vegetables. If it works better for you, you can eat a small bar of chocolate instead.

    Just sit back and allow yourself some moments of daydreaming

    Relax your senses by doing a short meditation during downtime.Allow thoughts to passively enter and exit your mind.

    Hi guess, We feel work as a stress only when doesn't enjoy it, while working you must enjoy it and not to take it as trouble or problem. It is very necessary in between the work to feel the fresh Air and relax yourself. If you want the home feel, you can talk with your family members, it will really help you. During the break, you must try to listen the favourite music, which will bring you the energy in your work and make you stress free. Hope it helps you.

    1)If you are getting tea breaks and Lunch break during that period talk with friends do not sit lonely this helps you to do not get bored.
    2)If you will do regular exercise in the morning you will not get tired very soon.

    Its really tiring to work continuously for 10 hours with only few breaks.

    To refresh yourself,you can follow some steps such as:-

    1.Have a talk with your colleagues when you get a short interval.

    2.Listen to a nice music when getting bored.

    3.Take a short walk in the balcony.

    4.Don't focus on the computer screen continuously for a long time.Look to a far place after working

    some time on your computer.

    5.Don't think that you have to work for a long hour,this brings a negative impact in you.Try to enjoy

    the nature of your job.

    every day morning go to the yoga ,the yoga will decrease the pressure on your

    don't hang up ,even in the break time

    you can chat your friends

    or you can listen the music in the break times

    the music can give the refile to every one

    just think that every thing is possible can do any thing

    try to drink one glass of the water and do the mediation for one minute

    you can get the power in the body and can get the refile to you

    don't be serious to every one ,and don't thing any bad issues at that time

    it may damage your time and also the in trust on the your work

    Hi. I can understand your problem . You can listen to music in between to refresh yourself. Basically you should do anythin in your break which keeps you away from your job. This will increase your stamina to work and interest surely.

    You may read a novel or a good book to freshen yourself.

    Or you can do yoga or meditation exercises to increase your concentration and hence interest in your work. But for yoga you have to have a instructor as otherwise it can harm your body also.

    Breathing exercises may be equally helpful to relieve stress.

    You can go to your breakout area or recreation room and relax there.
    If you can do some exercise while sitting at your workstation.

    Try some exercise as follows :

    -->> stand up from your seat and rotate your waist in clockwise and anti-clock wise direction.

    -->> Rotate your arms and shoulders .

    Strectching exercise really helps you to relax and refresh you at work.

    Make sure you maintain a good sitting posture while working as it can cause pain in your body.

    Tea or Coffee will not help you to get the freshness back they just avoid you to become sleepy for some time ..

    You have to try other things to be fresh..

    Like you can take a break and go out for a fresh and soothing air which will refresh your mind..

    This is the best way..

    But if you are working in a building where it is not possible to do so then you can try other things like..

    Take a deep breath and relax yourself..

    I also work for 10 hours and feel very tired during my work hours........!!!!!! You can go to open area with your friends for fresh area and don't put yourself in stress during your break....Even don't think about work pressure or burden during your break......! Deep breathing all the time will help you to relax your mind !!!!

    In our daily 10 hrs working period refreshment in necessary to be energetic while working. If we will feel like refreshed then only we can give productive and effective work in a given time.


    1. To refresh yourself you have to keep your nearby environment full with lot of energy.
    2. You can talk with people around you on those topics by which you will get refreshed.
    3. If you are feeling like heaviness in your head, then you can simply do head rotating exercise and can go out for a while and take some fresh air.
    4. You can take initiative in your team to conduct a small activity daily of 15 to 30 minutes.

    Relaxation is definetly to be take care during office hours or else we will feel stresses.

    If you work all time your mind will be full of tension.

    you should not sit in the same place after 20 minutes.

    If your working in system you should see any object after every 5 minutes.


    Talk with your friends about some entertainment things.


    Get up and drink water every 20 minutes.

    Blink your eyes often or else moisture will not be there in your eyes.

    It is very common in IT industry. Such long hours with few breaks can affect your health badly.

    The best practice to follwed in this situation is, ergonomics.

    Ergonomics is a branch of science which deals with physical exercises during work hours.

    Its basically the movement and stretching of hands, legs, eyes etc which relaxes your body and muscles.

    Hi..In this present scenario every job comes with a lot of stress and most of the people have to face the same situation as you are faciong..But you should not get demoralised or dejected and try to fight every circumstance and obstacles which come in your away..You certainly have to refresh or re-energize yourself if you have to be fully efficient in your work and want to give your full concentration to it..Also you have to keep good health if you have to work under such stressful conditions and for that you have to refresh yourself in between your work hours from time to time..

    As you say you have 2 tea breaks and one lunch break in between so that gives you ample time to refresh yourself and thus time lack is not a factor here..I think yoga and meditation are best to refresh you..So you should talk to your employer to have a meditation room in your workplace where all the employees can destress themselves whenever they feel in their free time..I think that is the best way you can refresh yourself ..

    Other than this you can take some refreshments along with tea which you love eating or music is anoother way of destressing yourself especially instrumental music..You can go for that..

    Really its tough to work long hours.its better short gap of interval other than the office hours. constantly sitting causes back and eye problems.so little walk to toilet r water r simple walk in balcony could help relieve your tension for a while.if you have separate room for personal discussion you could practice yoga which gives mental boost and refreshes easily.

    For that you have to take a gap between 5-10 min gap for every 2 hrs..

    At the time of lunch or coffee break you may have some time to spend with the friends, and colloquies and companions...

    You should bring ear phone, and cell in with you.. You may listin the songs and also work Facebook on the phone...

    If you have GF/BF then you may call her for refreshment...

    DRINKING WATER it retains your energy levels.
    and others are as follows

    1)Take a small nap.
    2)Speak to some one who makes you happy
    3)Have Tea or Coffee

    1.do meditation regularly which will enhance your mental strength and increase your patience.
    2. Move fro your seat for every 1-2 hours walk around for 5-10 minutes have a deep breath..
    3. Chat with your other employees and share your work loads with them.
    4. Do multitasking for a while.
    5.surf or browse internet , social networking sites, but be sure that you complete your work in time..
    6.meditate 5-minutes in the name of god.
    7. Don't think about mental stress and work load take it easy....

    Hello friend ,
    Its obvious that after working conteneously for a long period you will get stressed so you can do these things to relief yourself
    1-take a break and go for coffee or tea with your friends.
    2-while working inbetween make jokes with friends and njoy your work.
    3-company also provides some indoor game facilities like TT,Badminton and basketball so you can take a bit long break and play it will help you.
    4-read newspaper or go to the library to spend your time.
    5-call your friends and talk with them you will feel the change.
    6-have lunch or dinner with all your friends it will give you some moments of enjoyment.

    hi friend,

    relaxation is very important in anywork.

    if you are working on a system take 2 minutes gap for every 30 minutes.

    so that your eyes will get less stressed.

    take coffee/tea during the break.

    also take a walk near by your table as you will have a chance of getting gap as you continously work on sitting at a place.

    don't think of other problems during working hours of office.

    be prepared for all the things.

    Hi mate!

    Its so much fun to be employed and work for your company.
    First of all,you need to associate yourself with the company.
    Treat your company as your second family.

    To refresh yourself,you can interact with other staff members when you feel a bit down and bored.
    This can refresh your mind.

    If you have facility of gym your office,then you can spend some time over there as well, just for a change!

    A cup of coffee can also do good!

    You can even close your eyes for 5 mins and take rest.

    If music soothes you,then you can even listen to music,but make sure that others don't get distracted by this!

    Believe in your strengths. Develop a feeling in your mind that you can work for hours and hours without feeling any stress.

    If you feel anything tired, just close your eyes for few minutes and get relaxed.

    This will bring new energy to your body.

    Even after that also, if you feel tired, just go to resting room and have a sleep for few minutes.

    This will relieve all your pressures.

    Have some snacks at work.

    Whenever you get some free time, try to crack jokes so that you can get laugh which is necessary for every one.

    Refreshment should be very much important for the employees during the working hours.

    Otherwise they can concentrate well.

    If there is no concentration, they can not give good productivity.

    To refresh yourself, just close your eyes for 5 minutes for every one hour.

    During that time, don't let any thoughts to come to your mind.

    You can practice yoga and meditation also.

    Dear this problem happens with most of the peoples those who work from a long time and that is about more than 8 hours everyday and you have working 10 hours everyday that is not going good with you because this is not in the rule and if you work in private company then your company must take not more than 8 hours from the employees but if your company is taking more work then you must ask for more rest or increase the time of lunch because if you will not be refreshed then how will you take interest in working so first you should go to your boss and request them to provide you at least 30 minutes + in lunch time because if you will take more rest then you will be able to work more and will feel active during working hours and if you are getting only 30 minutes during working hours then this may really not create more interest in work that is why you should discuss with your all colleagues on this matter then go to the boss and ask for it

    If you all will go then they will definitely provide you at least 20 minutes + in your lunch time so this will keep your active and refresh for all day and if your boss say that it is not possible to give at least 1 hour continuously then you should ask for two different time rest for 25 minutes in each then I am sure that your boss will give you sometime to make yourself active and if you do not feel good while working in the office or do not take interest in work then you must try to make your work easier because sometimes you may get pressure because of critical work that takes a long time with no interest and whenever you need help in your work then you must go to your colleagues or your boss and ask them for help so this thing will keep you good during working hours

    When you get the tea or lunch time then you must come out of the office and take fresh air and remove your head ache so this may also give you energy during work and if you get tired soon during to work then you must keep a bottle of glucose with you and keep it taking on time as during lunch and after every 2 hours so this may give you more energy to your body that will make you able to work more
