How to prepare appointment letter for both contract employees and permanent employees separately? What are the points to be considered while preparing this appointment letters?

We have some of the contract and permanent employees joining to the company. I am new in HR field. My boss has told me to prepare appointment letter for both of them. How to prepare the appointment letter for both of them separately? What are the points to be considered while preparing this appointment letters?

    Hi Friend,
First you need to prepare the compensation and benefit structure for both of permanent and contract employees and classify them according to their band/role.
In compensation and benefits you need to see that some of the benefits like leaves, medical insurance,PF,HRA,LTA etc a contractor will not get while you need include them as part of CTC for permanent employee.

While you are preparing appointment letter of contract employees you need to focus on below factors.
    1) Data of appointment and contract end date and notice period needs to be clearly mentioned.
2)If any contractual obligations that needs to be clarified.
    3) While calculating CTC, it would be calculated based upon number of working days/hours. Contractors are not paid for weekends or holidays.
4)Do not include HRA,LTA,Medical Claim,Medical Insurance and leave benefits for contract employees.
