How to persuade my manager to get my colleague transferred with me?

I am working in a software company. Recently my company has decided to transfer me to Delhi. But I also want one of my colleagues to also get the transfer along with me as we have a very good rapport and work great as a team. He also wants the same. How to persuade my manager in this regard?

    hi
in order to get a transfer of your friend along with you is really a tough task to deal with. All you can do is that you can give it a try by asking your boss to try n understand the situation and get the things done. Try to prove him that you being together with your friend can actually perform really well.

Transfer is one of the important factor for an organization.Although for some employees it can be like a nightmare, however few enjoy transfer.Transfers help in maintaining balance in the entire organization. It is basically done to create a mutual balance in the working of the entire organization by spreading the efficient and non-efficient employees among various branches of the organization so that each of its branch functions well and works smoothly.

It is good to see that you do not have problem with your transfer and you also want your colleague to accompany you.Even he wants the same. However this is quite difficult from professional point of view. Moreover if you both are equally good at your work,it is quite difficult to get the transfer at one place together since every organization wants a mixture of staffs in all its branches stressing upon the efficient factor more.

However it is not impossible also.Hence you both should try for it.If you are fortunate and if the higher authority thinks the same way, then you both can get through it.First of all, have a talk with your boss. You both approach him.Tell the desire of both of you. Ask him what needful should be done to get the transfer done at one place.Do as directed by your boss. This will ensure better chances for you both as his recommendation also holds a value.

You all can approach the headquarter where the transfers are decided. You both can submit an application for this issue expressing your desire. Also mention the reasons of such desire and as to why the higher authority should take decision in your favour. The reasons should be genuine. Then hope that you both get transferred at one place.

    hiii,
well i can understand the team work. for this kind of transfer you are demanding only your management can help you in that. you both should go to them and talk about this. keep all your positive points in font of them. they would understand it for sure. make them them clear that you two work great together.

but i must tell you that this argument is not god . as you want to accompany your colleague too. make sure you dont force the manager for this decision accept it what ever is decided for you .
    thanks
