    How to motivate the regional sales executive to reach their target and improve their performance?

    I work as Regional head of sales department. 10 people who have joined recently as sales executive under me are not performing well. They are paid handsomely and have 2-3 years’ experience in the same field. How to motivate this executive to reach their target and improve their performance?

    hello sir this probelem is everywhere .any new seles exucutive get job in any reputed firm then he/she be ome idle on working conditions.you should call a meeting to dectate all norms and regulations of the copany.here youcan tell them how they increase their network to getting the target.you should set some penaltization rules for every candidate when theydo any illeagle worko or not tou h the target points.thanks!!!!!!!!

    Dear..

    Its is very good that you want them to perform well otherwise they will put up a question mark on your ability, There are various ways to improve the sales and hence you have to do these steps one by one.

    Dear first of all forget about the target, First of all call them up and tell then that our region is the only one which is not performing and i want you to raise your incoming's by 10% on what you are doing right now. It will make them feel happy that we are not over burdened. Give them two weeks time and tell them that you are gonna review each and everyone's performance.

    After the specified time prepare a review report and give a reward in terms of cash or kind for the person who did the best and penalized the person(Not by cash) who did not perform by telling him that you have not performed your best so next week your target will be 5% more then what others are getting.

    Remember that sales person are already overburdened and they have to work really hard as selling is not at all a easy job so its better to give recognition to them on their small achievements too. Do not become harsh to any of then employee.

    One more thing that you can do is to ask them to choose any five you will do the target any how and next month choose the other five and tell them that the team has to achieve the target any how otherwise there will be a penalty of increased burden and cutting in the form of leaves.

    Hi.. If your employees have 2-3 yrs experience and they are paid handsomely then there is no reason that they should not perform well.. Rather they should work hard and be thankful to you for paying them so handsomely..

    But if they are not doing so you should call them to your office and ask them the reason for their non-performance..If they give some genuine reason then tell them to improve on it..

    Or you can give them some incentives like a special bonus if they achieve their target in time.. Then maybe with such incentives they will work harder and try to improve their faults..

    hoi friend,

    tell them the need to achieve the targets

    motivate them

    say that if they reached the target they will get the bonus.

    extra benefits can be provided.

    by all these things you can make them improve and reach the targets.

    Try to motivate them by giving them examples of other people who are successful in llife due to continuous hard work and devotion towards their work.

    Use power words to encourage them and to pump up their enthusiasm.
    Be more friendly with them!

    Hi aspirant..

    Your employees should understand their responsibility and try to give the best to the company. As they have experience also , i cant make out any reason for them to not perform well. They should be faithful to their company which is providing them their income for their daily needs. THey should work hard so they get appreciation from their boss.

    But as you say they are not performing well, it means that either they are not interested or they require motivation. You can try to organize a competition that whoever achieves their target in time will be rewarded. You can reward them with a cash prize or increasing their salary. I am sure this will motivate them and they will show more interest in their work.

    Try this or device some other methods to motivate them. Also talk to them regarding their performance not being upto the mark and tell them you want better results from now on. Try to inspire them by giving them some examples. I hope they listen to you and improve.

    -->Make commission a driving force
    -->Build winning teams
    --> Ask them to reach the target by the end of the day.
    -->guide them on how to accomplish the job properly.
    --> Give bonus.
    --> Give appreciation.this will boast there confidence

    Dear,
    Congrats on your will. I have some suggestions.
    1. To make others who are under you to work, you yourself work hard.
    2. Prepare a plan every day and distribute the works among the executives as well.
    3. Works must be done in advance of the stipulated target dates. So that if necessary you can do some modifications.
    4. Always plan for work schedules for all and monitor the execution process.
    5. Never let anybody to slow down or be lazy regarding the completion of the deeds.
    6. Even if you can give some paper works or back office entry works to the persons who have finished their targets and sitting idle, gossiping and roaming outside without any reason.
    7. You should pursue everyday reporting procedure which will help you monitoring the activities of your co-workers and executive.
    8. Do not be idle or do not let others be the same.
    9. Do not forget reward the achiever and punishments(may be verbal or financial if serious errors) to the looser.
    10. Set time for recreations, and usual lunch and tiffin breaks arranged by the office itself.
    11. So I think you can do better.
