    How many PLs can a employee avail at a time and government policy for the same?

    I run a media company and provide following leaves/year as following to our employees:-
    SL- 7
    CL- 7
    PL- 30 (2.5/month)
    Some employees have accumulated more than 30 PL's. and some have around 80-90 PL's in there account.
    I want to know that how many leaves an employee can take at a time and please tell me is there is any Government policy regarding this?

    Hi,

    I would like to let you know that as much I know there is no government policy which defines that how to take the leaves. Actually each and every company has their own norms, according to which employee can take the leaves. If in your company you have provided the carry forward facility for PL category to you employees, then if individual have a lot of leave balance in their account, So for the same you can introduce one new norm I.e once the PL leaves will reach at 45, then the rest of the leaves will get credited in employees salary account as per the company's norms. But you can not stop anybody to take leave if somebody have an emergency.
