    How to make an effective undertaking letter?

    I work in a multinational company. Recently I had been accused of breaking a rule of the company. As a consequence I have been asked to submit an undertaking letter to this effect stating that I will not repeat the mistake again and if repeated will be liable for punishment as decided by the company. So I want to know how to make an effective undertaking letter to assure the higher authority.

    Hello there !!!

    since you have realized that you made a mistake.
    it means that you really made the mistake.
    so, now you should be really serious regarding this.
    so, you can write all those things in the undertaking letter that you did it. ok ??

    this will give a real impact on the manager that you have accepted the mistake.
    also write it there that why did you made that particular mistake.
    this will give the boss an idea about the situation you might be in during making the mistake.
    and if the situation was pathetic than it might happen that you boss will apolgise you for your mistake.

    Nowadays,the companies are quite strict in maintaining the rules and regulations.They are concerned about the decorum of their company and uplifting their work culture since most of the good employees prefer good culture and working environment inorder to get job satisfaction.Since you have broken rules of the company,so you should try your best to make your punishment as small as possible through your undertaking letter.Here are certain tips for your undertaking letter.

    -Address your undertaking letter to the concerned authority.
    -Start your letter with humbleness directly pointing towards the topic.
    -Give a brief cause which compelled you to break the rule of the company.
    -Ask for forgiveness.
    -Stress upon your words of not repeating any activities against the interest of the company.
    -Stress upon the words that you will accept any punishment if you go break any rule of the company from now onwards.
    -Give a strong assurance of better service record from now on.
    -Request to give you a last chance for improvement.
    -Thank the higher authority for listening to you.
