    How to learn how to work with difficult people?

    I am about to start my new job and was wondering if somebody could give me some tips on how to deal with difficult people. I have worked before but only as a part time shelf stacker at a supermarket so I have not really interacted with people much. I know there are many seminars which run on this but are they effective?

    I can understand your concern and definitely realise how you are feeling right now. Everyone wants to be an expert at their job and thus want to do everything the right way. No one wants to do something wrong in their job so as to get a scolding from their boss. So I can definitely understand what you want right now. To deal with difficult people you should first speak politely to them and be patient with them. Try to understand what they want and then try to fulfill their needs as soon as possible.

    So if they are satisfied then its very good for you, but if they still show signs of dissatisfaction then tell them that you have done everything you could to help them out and thus are completely clueless how to satisfy them. So you request them to please suggest you a way to help them. Then those people will realise their mistake and try to be more polite with you. I am sure in this way you will come out as a winner.

    Attending seminars are be helpful but they will tell you the things which you are common .
    There will be some habits and attributes which will help you in general while working with different people.
    When working with a number of people , not every ones ideas matches with yours .
    And some people have this characteristic that will just not listen and bother much about what other person thinks .
    People are fussy about things and are rigid .

    You need to identify those people first and then try not to get involved wih them much .
    Incase its neccessary , try not avoid long arguments with them . Basically you will need to tolerate and
    be patient with such people .
    It will surely help you build your character and help you deal with such people .

    Although , you should also not always tolerate thier nuisance . you can let them know that where they
    are crossing the line and behave otherwise a report will be filed .
    Although , you should try to be polite and try to get them in your favour . try to build some relations with them
    and can make them open to you .
    This will surely help them too as they will realise they werent being normal .

    Dear Aspirant,

    You need not worry to deal about the difficult people.when you come across such people,you will realise that in fact no body is bad.In general peole get annoyed,when they don't get their aim fulfilled.I mean to say that when you behave well in manner & politely,others will also behave in the same manner.You should have your own principle.

    As you might be knowing that hierarchy is a main step of the administration.You should follow.It means there is chain of authority in the company/office.You will have to work under some senior authority who will guide & help you.You must follow him.If you face any problem,inform & request for guidance for solution.He will help you.
    Be polite,honest,efficient,puntual in your works.Give priority to works,you will be liked by most of the seniors & colleagues.

    Hi,
    I think you don't have previous experience to work with difficult and different people.So first you feel free and comfortable to work with different people by motivating yourself as good person and you have to buildup self confidence. Habituate yourself to wish your colloquies every day and slowly try to understand their behavior by communicating and observing.if you try to know about your co-workers then it is easy to work with them according to their behavior. If some of your colloquies are short temper then don't play jokes on them. In working environment we see so many people with different culture and different mentalities.
    So its better to give respect to them and your self.respect every one even they are inferior to you.In working environment every one is equal so every one is respectable.If u give respect to everyone and their values then you can work with any kind of persons.Don't criticism other defects.Its always good to you be in your limits with any kind of person whether they are your superior or inferior or even with your friends .
    In working environments gossips are more dangerous, don't encourage it and try to avoid it.If any thing you don't like about your colloquies behavior with you then try to make them know about your uncomfortable gently.
    finally my suggestion is respect yourself and give respect to every one

    When you start any new project,dont think about the negatives at first.You should always start with a positive mind.When you start working,you will definitely come across a number of people.Each one of them will differ from one another.But in course of time you will learn how to interact with them.Initially you cannot predict what sort of situations are going to come your way.If you find it difficult you will get help from your seniors.Your instinct will guide you how to deal with difficult people:But one suggestion will be,be professional.

    I dont understand what do you say by difficult people be specific regarding the character however i will tell you how to handle stubborn and egocentric persons.these are the person who thinks what ever they think,whatever they do are correct and dont think about others in there decisions.so when you deal with these people be careful and dont try to put up your thoughts only ,listen to them also take some of there points in order to gain there confidence and to make anything successful.befriend with them as they are hard to motivated but they will listen to you .go along with them to have a balance in a situation.

    first you have to know your position and always behave as per position but never get angry on any one or use abusing word i have seen during my job period some are misuse them position it may harm your character so live peacefully and welcome every one with smile and make every one friend.if you fine out some one fell gelousy from you or not helping or not behaving in good manner just keep some distance with them.i hope i have given you satisfactory answer.

    don't ever try to dominate other, always talk calmly and politely. this will give positive attitude for you.
