    How to encourage the employee during failure?

    I am the boss of a private company. Recently our company got a setback in completing a project of one of our important client. As a result,the morale of the employees has gone down and the effect is on their work. I,being the boss should encourage them. How can I do this task successfully?

    You , being the boss of the company, should definitely try and motivate your employees so that they can recover from this setback that they and your company has received. You should definitely encourage them to that their performance levels come back to normal and thus they are chrged up as before. There are many ways in which you can motivate your employees. Tell them that Life is not a Bed of roses, and that they should learn to face such difficulties bravely in life. They should not get discouraged by such happenings and rather resolve to fight them with courage. Such setbacks are also an enriching experience for them. They will learn only from their failures. They should know that Failures are stepping stones to success.

    Also tell them that they should not give up so easily and try to bring a consistency in their performance so that the next time such a thing doesn't happen. They should tell themselves that the next time you work with even work with more dedication and will not let such a thing happen.

    I am sure your employees will be motivated by your speech and thus will not be discoureged from now on. They will continue to work harder and to achieve their goals. Good luck

    you have to continually encourage your employees and try to find out by which reasons your project get fail result.improve all that factors and make environment relax by general talking try to convince them its part of our life try and try you will get success even you can plan for picnic so may be your employees mood will be changed and again they will start doing work with efficiently.

    It is essential for any leader to inspire and encourage his team members or subordinates in their work especially when they receive setbacks in their work.It is good to see that you are looking forward to encourage your staff members.Motivation leads to reduction in boredom,brings enthusiasm,leads to job satisfaction and mental peace,avoids jealousy and prejudice amongst team and helps to achieve deadlines faster.

    You can encourage your staff by:-
    -Offering perks and incentives regularly.
    -Inceptives may not always be monetary.
    -For old employees, a friendly and supportive atmosphere matters.
    -To retain old employees, appraisals works the best.
    -Organizing events and programs to reduce monotony.
    -Sending employees on site.
    -Giving them new challenges apart from their daily tasks.
    -Appreciating their hard work.

    Failure is the key of success in life.It is common to be fail in many occasions,but it does not mean to frustrate in life.

    In order to boost your employees,you can have a get together party with refreshment.Discuss all the matters & cause for failure.Encourage them by saying the example of the famous personalities of the world who first failed many times & then succeeded in life.You can have lessons from those personalities.The best example is Bapu Ji i.e sri Gandhi Ji & Mr.Abraham Lincoln.

    If we sit frustrated,we can not do any thing for the company as well as for ourselves.So we should work with full cooperation & enthusiasm for next project.Every day we should monitor our work progress & activities of all the members of the team.

    I appreciate your motive to encourage the employees during failure this will definitely prove you as one of the best manager of the company.
    these are the things can be done to encourage
    1- first you need to reason of failure ,is it due to not having sufficient knowledge in that domain,or may be due to less appraisal,less leaves or work environment...etc
    2-if this is due to less knowledge in the domain then arrange some special training for your team members
    3-if this is the bad working environment then talk to the higher management arrange some recreational facility and some other like tea,cofee and snacks on the floor such that they can enjoy that.
    4-promise them good appraisal on the basis of there performance then they will work hard
    5-timely appraisal or recognition system where some money and accolades to be given away to the best performing members
    6- help them to learn the process and reach you in any time they face any problem.
    you also teach them to stay fresh during company hours else the job will seem pretty boring and that may hamper there performance.
    these are the steps to stay fresh in working hour
    1-take a break and go for coffee or tea with your friends.
    2-while working inbetween make jokes with friends and njoy your work.
    3-company also provides some indoor game facilities like TT,Badminton and basketball so you can take a bit long break and play it will help you.
    4-read newspaper or go to the library to spend your time.
    5-call your friends and talk with them you will feel the change.
    6-have lunch or dinner with all your friends it will give you some moments of enjoyment.

    ​It is really a very good decision taken by to your employees and the profit of your company because in case of loss of the project, most of the managers of the companies takes some wrong decision and scold the employees those who have not done the project on time because there may be some causes that why your project could not get completed so that every time, forcing and scolding the employees is not a skill of a good manager and we are pleased to know about your decision

    You should take everything positively and do not talk again and again about the failure project because it makes the employees demotivated so that you must give time to the employees when they gets free and enjoy with them, always talk to them positively and tell them that they should not worry about the past and care about the future because the past has gone and if we wish to change the past then also it may not be changed so that do not think about the past project and think about the new one means - "Let be goes, be by gone's" and start working for the new project and try to make it successful without any failure

    I appreciate your gesture.Very few people think in this way.As the boss your suggestions will seem supportive to him.You can meet him personally and ask him not to be demoralised.Failure can come in to anybody.But that should not effect ones future actions.He should learn from his mistake and refrain from doing it in future.You need to motive him in this way.

    Hello ,
    It is good to see your positive approach in this situation and you are certainly a good boss .
    You should comfort them and basically tell them that - Fine if one assignment wasnt completed in time , doesnt
    mean that we are not capable of doing anything .

    It is a collective failure and no one should blame it on himself .
    Try using words like "We ", "Us " showing that you all are a team .
    It will boost them and take them out of the shell of failure .

    Assure them that the company has dealt with a setback , but it was the last and now we will work
    even harder to avoid such a event from repeating .
    have a meeting and explain that you were happy with their performance . It was just one of those unlucky times
    and dont let it demotivate you .
    It is a part of job and try not to be carried away .
    Take it as a motivation to increase the hard work to prove the company next time regarding your capabilites .

    Failure or success will be a part of the business cycle..And you being the manager of the company you should see that just one failure will not let down the performance of your employees..Firstly try to analyse that why this setback is faced?Try to short list the points or reasons which results for this hindrance..And later ensure that this wont be repeated..Never try to abuse or scold the employees regularly for this..This will completly affect your further progress..Be calm,keep on cheering the employees and never let their morale fall down..This is a competitive world and prepare the mindset of your employees to this nature..All the best..

    1.have motivation classes for 2-3 days where all the employees including you should participate and also the management should be active in the session..
    2.you need to know what went wrong there should not be blame game on each other,you need to know the reason why you have failed to complete the project..
    3.by knowing the facts and also the ways to work on the skills of every individual for improvement of accuracy in dealing with clients support system..
    4.after this session of what went wrong then you can have brief talk and encourage them and show some inspirational movies like rocky3 ,chak de india this will help themselves motivate its not for fun take my works seriously for i mean you take inspiration from it my dear sir...
