    How to encourage the customer to carry on the business without taking credit?

    We are wholesale dealer of electronic items and computer hardware. We have lots of customer. Some of the customer takes the item on cash and some on credit. Few people are very slow in credit payment. I want to avoid this credit purchase and at the same time donít want to lose the business. How to encourage the customer to carry on the business without taking credit?

    Hello,

    Yes the credit problem is very common in the market.
    In fact this was one of the reasons for the recession in the US market , which eventually led to the Recession in the whole world.
    So i have a solution for you which is also been used by many people and it works too.

    Solution:

    If you are selling the items for example for Rs. 40,000 .
    Than what you can do is , you can offer the same commodity or Rs 39,500 on cash and fr Rs40,000 on the credit.
    Now this will encourage the customer to buy the commodity on cash and your problem is solved.
    Also you can have Lucky draw coupons for the people who buy from you in cash and not on credit.

    So the basic aim behind all of this is to motivate he clients to buy stuff in cash .
    In these ways you wont lose your clients and will get cash too.

    Dear friend-i think as per your question it is custom of old customers on you have the 100% faith that if we provide credit them they will repay within the usual time at that stage you must not waive the credit system.old customers also give their customer credit facility.thus in business a balanced system is maintained.

    Again you can not provide credit those customer whose reliability is less than you must not provide them credit.encourage them on cash payment and provide to attach gift for those customer make cash payment.this usage will boost selling without credit.

    Hi. I can completely understand your situation. To avoid losing your business you can encourage the customers to buy your products on easy monthly installments. This will be really attractive for those who dont have that much cash at that moment.

    For cheap products you can completely finish the credit system and label them as "Cash only".

    Also you can introduce the Debit card system where the people will pay by getting their debit cards swiped as in today's times most of the people have Debit cards at their disposal.

    Also if you like you can start online shopping for your shop which will get you more business.
