    How does sexual harassment handled in office?

    I am 28 years old working women. Though I work in MNC company with most so called educated or literate people, I have to face various mental harassment in office. I see sometimes people whistling to various our women employees or comment horribly on us. I want to complain about them. I donít know their name and how to complaint about this to my manager without having complete information? Please provide us the ways to avoid this daily harassment.

    You should not ignore such kind of harassment as it would encourage that people harassing women.You should directly go to your reporting superior and should file a complaint.
    He'll definitely listen to your problem. Knowing there name is not important you could note their department or the location where they sit.Surely the matter will be solved as it is a serious one.There are strict laws against such people and they may face legal issues.So go for it and dont wait.

    If you getting various mental harassment in your office then you have to complain to your manager or you should be a bold lady who is doing like this comment say to them face to face..if they will do out of limit..once you will reply in future they will not comment o you..and just concentrate on your work..

    Its actually bad when we see educated people getting involved in this.

    You can readily take this issue to your manager where actions are taken on high priority.


    Nor you can drop your problems or issue in a complaint box if your company provides with such facility.


    If you see that people regulary on particular place you can state that as landmark.


    Nor you can tell them some personal identification about those people to ombus person.

    If you wish to disclose your name you can or maintain it as confidential.

    It sad to know these kind of things are still happening in some MNC. You dont need to follow any procedure for this, just go to your manager and point out the person who is troubling you.

    A company follows manner and ethics first. Then they go for the service. Your manager should take care of the rest of the things. Be strong and brave. Dont hide from these people show them what you can do , then only they will be silent else they will take advantage of your weakness.

    In some companies certain groups are made just for this purpose. In our company we have a group dont know about yours , You can ask a senior officer may be he knows something.

    how much you will ignore them one time two time... but they won't stop... so better to complain about them to your manager... if you don't know about them anything you just show them to your manager by their face.. because they should know what wrong they are doing... now they are just commenting on you who knows what they will do afterwards so don't show them that you are looser just complain of them then they will come to know... what is the mean of whistling and commenting...

    Hi guest, It doesn't matter you work in MNC company or small company with educated or literate people, they will be some people who never respect women. You must take a serious action against them. If you had saw people whistling to women employees or comment horribly on them then First of all women must get united and complaint against them to senior officials, as proof against them you can take video shoot of them when they are doing cheap things. It will really works in order to remove mental harassement. Thanx

    DEAR ASPIRANTS,

    You face various problem so why you afraid talk to maneger

    and about problem she told them why you face mental harssment

    problem daily,you focus on work thats it .you dont concentrate extra

    any other haressment only concentrate work. And you complain HR

    department write a letter and they handle very softly way.

    laws.

    In order to handle such harassment in your office,you can take these steps:-

    1.Recognise the face of the people involved in the activity.

    2.Try to approach to the head of the company or the employee who is given charge for

    handling sexual harassment.

    3.It will be better if you complain in groups so that it can have more impact on the manager.

    4.If the head of the office also does not pay attention to your problem,complain this in police

    station.

    2)Write a

    3)Else make a

    first give warning,whom do miss behaviour to you

    after that he didn't listen ,then give compliant to you project manager

    if the any action not takes means ,and give compliant to the hr

    after that if the action not take means,then give the compliant to any police station ,near to your office

    be care fully because ,we are seeing so many bad things in the soft ware field

    some times the person can do any thing,so be care fully and don't along lonely

    But you must say to your manager.

    Explain him everything.

    He might help you out.

    People are there who do not know how to behave and respect women.

    So just ignore that's what i can say.

    Hi. I can surely understand your problem and completely sympathesize with you. I personally think all Women should be given respect and those who cant should be taught how to respect women.

    First of all you should gather all the information about the men who are causing you mental agony and sexual harrasment.

    You should gather all the other women who are facing the same problem and also other employees-men or women- who support you. Then you should all go to the Manager together and complain about these shameless people.

    Make sure all the information you gather about these men is genuine and with proof as this can go against you if you dont give genuine info to the manager,

    Fight for respect and teach these men what a woman can do so they dont disrespect any women ever in their life. Best of luck. Thanx

    Hi..Its really sad that your colleagues are behaving in such a manner..They should know that all women should be respected and i think as they respect their mothers and sisters so they also should learn to respect their lady colleagues..
    So you need to teach them a lesson..

    Instead of complaining about them you should firstly along with other women employees gather and go and talk to them directly..Tell them on their face what you think about them and their attitude towards their colleagues..Tell them they should be ashamed of themselves for such ridiculous and highly uncivilized behaviour..Tell them they also would be having mothers and sisters at home and would they also behave with them like this? Also tell them how their family members would feel when they come to know about their immoral behaviour..

    I am sure after so much of scolding they will be ashamed of themselves and then your purpose will also be solved..But if they still dont improve go to your manager straightaway with all the girls and tell them exactly how they are behaving with you..Give them all the facts and no need to hide anything..

    Hello mam,
    this is a serious offense and you should not tolerate these offenders for sexual harassment ,government have made clear that this wont be tolerated with working ladies and every company aware of this law so they have made their own methodology to reduce this type of cases
    1-some companies follow whistle blowing policy ,i.e if you complain about some one then they will take direct action against them
    2-secondly you can make them get caught red handendly infront of some higher authority or security by informing him earlier.
    3-once give them warning that you will complain against them they will surely stop teasing
    4-else put a mail to manager with the names of culprit and emp id and mention their behaviour towards you strong action will be taken against them
