    How does a company select the resume of the employees? On what basis the resume gets rejected?

    I am fresher. Just completed my B.com and looking for a job. I have prepared my resume and shared to most of the companies email id. How does a company select the resume and on what basis the resume gets selected or rejected for further round? Please suggest.

    Hi Aspirant,
    Resume Selection is the key point or First step to get a job in any field to selection procedure
    because Company Firstly sect the number of resume then Call for further process. If you are not shortlisted then how
    to get a job in this company.
    Company check the Details which are they required.
    I think you should regularly update your Resume profile. updation is very important for all candidate. it shows that how much are
    you interested for Job Requirement.

    Hi Friend,
    For fresher's profile company look at Educational qualification,Scores(%)in graduation,10th and 12th, the college reputation from where you completed graduation, if you have acquired any technical skills through training or college projects, if you have done any certification etc.

    On the basis of that company select/reject fresher's profile.

    For experienced profile it is completely based upon company's requirement for the job role, experience in desired skills. If it matches then only they short-list the candidate.

    Resume is the basis for shortlisting the candidates.
    A company selects the Resume by
    1.considering the scores and grades.

    2.They see that the educational qualification is fulfilling the required criteria or not.

    3.They also consider the required skills, ie technical skills and communication skills

    4.They overview the strenghts and weakness.

    5.They also look at your hobbies and extra curriculum activities

    6.If you have some achievements then that adds weight to your resume.

    If all the above criterias are fullfilled by you then your resume gets selected or else they may reject it.

    It's good work by you to share your Resume to many companies. The resume will be selected or rejected depends upon certain factors which are as follows-
    1. Firstly the company will check whether you provided every details of yours or not. If yes, then they proceed to next step. Otherwise reject it.
    2. Here company checks your qualification and matches with the vacant post qualification needed by the company. If it does not matches, your resume will be rejected.
    3. Other certain factors like your age, experience (if any) are checked
    It is always required that you must always update your resume. And once your resume is selected, you will be called for the interview.

    Hi. First of all the company will see that your resume is complete in every aspect. If it is not complete in some aspect or the other then surely your resume will be rejected. So you should try to build a great resume in a proper format and try to take the help of a professional if possible.

    Then the company will check if your skills, qualifications and experience meet the needs of the company or not. If they meet the requirements of the company then they will shortlist you and promote you to the second round.

    For getting the job, appearance of the resume is the first and foremost step. Your resume should be well prepared providing necessary information about you. Please keeps on update your resume on regular basis and adopt different methods to make it differently and uniquely appeared.Moreover, don't forget to mention your percentage and year of your qualification as you are a fresher. Also mention your achievements in your field of work.
    You will surely get a good job, because where there is a will, there is a way.

    Hey friend...

    A resume is basically a reflection of a candidate.A company invites the applicant for the job on the basis of resume.

    The selection is basically done on the following grounds:-

    1.Whether the job criteria is fulfilled on not in the terms of Educational Qualifications,Age or any other criteria.

    2.If the above criteria are fulfilled,the manager checks involvement in Extra Curricular activities.

    3.If you have achievements in ECA are good,it puts a good impression on the selector.

    4.Your job experience is taken into account.

    5.They look at your hobbies,interests,etc.

    6.They check your strengths and weaknesses provided by you.

    If they find all the above things good enough,they will call you for interview.

    See,company won't recruit a candidate just because his Resume was the best but they reject a candidate if the Resume does not meet the basic standards.

    The recruiter checks your resume that you posses the skills that the company needs .     company searches for the required criteria for that job in your CV ,if its not there then it will get rejected however you need to follow certain standard of making your cv make it a short one with giving emphasis on your hobby and achievements which will make a good impression on the interviewer.
