    How to deal with senior people in Team?

    I recently joined to new company. Itís a team of almost 20 people. All are senior in my team except me. They are very expressive and mingle very easily. I donít feel comfortable much because of experience gap. Could anybody help me in telling how to deal with them? As they are my seniors I want to built good rapport with them.

    The first and foremost thing to keep in mind is that you should listen to them.They will feel that you respect them.Feel free to give suggestions in a way that they are not hurt or doent feel offended.As elder people are more likely to feel offended and angry, so be careful.Always greet them and be nice to them, it'll surely help you to get comfortable with them.

    Being a small fish in an ocean doesnt help really but you need to adjust and if you are saying that they mix with everyone easily and are good people then i dont think you should be having any problem.

    yes its obviously going to be difficult for you to adjust depending on the age difference but try and respect them and learn as much as possible as they will be very experienced compared to you.

    Dont argue with them and if you dont know something just ask for their help and whatever you know do it with confidence and make sure you dont give them a chance to complain against you

    don't try to argu with them give them respect even they are mingle with you...
    just maintain age gap between you and your senior it will be good for you...
    try to listen them if they are wrong .. don't get angry make yourself cool and try to handle situation.. this will make you great in his eyes...

    If you are in a team of 20 people and you are the junior among them then its great opportunity for you that you have doing some special work/project with them.
    You have great opportunity to prove your self with them. You have some other talent so you got that opportunity.

    The working with senior is totally depand on you like your nature, your attitude, your way to talking and many more thinks which you are known.

    Some times if you fell that you are not comfortable with your senior then you told the head of the group and tell them about your uncomfortable feeling.
    They also known that you have less knowledge or less experience about the work so they help you in your works.

    Try to make then friends because with friend we all open and feel comfortable.

    first do not think like that all are senior and very expressive think only that they all a family member..and you are a younger brother of them..suppose you have some problem then without any hesitation you can ask definitely they will guide you..you respect them they only will help you a lot in future..

    Friends you know when any odd event happen against employee than then senior first come to safe you.so in office always try to respect them.do not do anything agains t them.if you deem seniors view in particular item is wrong you must not argue with them try to manage them polietly.thus you will be closer to senior and get favoue as and when you need.

You must try to be polite while communicating with the senior, respect your seniors, feel free to convey your suggestion to the senior officials without hurting them, they may be sometimes angry on you, don't reply them harshly.     be friendly with the senior's in the team

    learn the subject or work from your senior;s,it helps you a lot

    always be friendly and be cool with the senior's

    if their do any bad with you ,just give compliant to your project manager or to your team leader

    if their dont any action tell to your hr

    don't feel or hesitate while talking to senior numbers in the team

    if you have any doubts ,just ask them and classified it

    I would like to let you know that if you are the most junior among all in your team then its a golden period for you to learn about the project. You can prove yourself in the team with your hard work. You can learn how to work in this environment. I can understand your discomfort, but if you want to get involve with the team and want to learn , then you have to take step ahead by yourself and talk to your team members. You just ignore your hesitation that you do not have much experience like them. You know that all the members who are in your team were like you only some time before, but with their attitude and nature they learned and grasped each and everything gradually and became confident.
    Once you will leave to thinking in negative sense, you can learn by your team members and will become like them only in some time.

    Its good that in your team so many senior people are around ,its actually a biggest advantage for you ,notonly they will helpyou out with your work you will learn a lot from them.however you need to maintain a good relationship with them.its not a big thing .greet them when ever you enter or leave the company,talk with them politely,never show attitude like i know everything.have lunch or dinner with them.have informal talks about hobbies and interests.help them if they ask you ever then they will like you and there will be no problem.

    Generally if the other senior persons in your team are aggressive, not mingling, then it will be problem for you.

    You only telling that they are open minded.

    Then why you feel uncomfortable.

    First remove the feeling that you are junior and they are seniors.

    Think in the way that you are all working in the same team and for the same purpose.

    Then you can feel comfortable.

    Just share your personal things and crack some jokes. You will feel relaxed.

    you should be lucky to have seniors in your team who are very expressive and understandable if they are very friendly and co-operative wats d problem with you.. learn work from them and try to develop from them instead of thinking about experience gap... develop yourself from seniors accept their comments and advice it will be helpful to you.. be calm and good to them obey your seniors you will definitely have good rapport with them all the best

    They might have come across several people like you.

    So, don't try to highlight yourself when you are with them.

    Try to listen whatever they say and give respect to them.

    Generally many people will say that the seniors in the team are not good.

    But you are luck that you have got nice team members.

    You should be happy for that.

    Experience does not matter at all.

    It all depends upon your personality, attitude.

    First remove the feeling that they are your seniors.

    Just took them as your friends, and share your happy moments and problems.

    Definitely, you can overcome your problem.
