in India there is a provision of income certificate.
income certificate is type of proof given by the government which shows your annual family income.
so,when you have to mention annual income then you should fill the same which is mentioned in income certificate.
and if someone needs a proof then show the certificate to him or send a Xerox copy.

It is always good to give the correct details,because the department/Institution may ask the proof of the information furnished in the application form.Also as per the instructions given in general,the attested photo copies of the required certificates such as income certificate,caste certificate,residential certificate passing certificate etc are required to enclose along with the application form for authentication of the information furnished in the application form.
So the candidates should give correct required information.
