How can I stop my transfer when my manager is not ready to stop the process?

I have been working in this HR consultancy from past 6 years. I am working in Bangalore branch. We also have branch in Pune and Hyderabad. My manager has transferred me to Pune without my notice. I am not at all in a position to take transfer. I have discussed the same with the manager and HR. HR has informed that the transfer can be stopped if manager insists. But he is not responding to my mails and calls properly. How can I stop this transfer other than this?

Hi it is really sad that your manager has transferred you without prior information .. He certainly should have told you beforehand so that you could have made all the required arrangements..

As now you are in no position to have a transfer you certainly should stop your manager from doing so..As your HR is saying that you can get your transfer stopped if your manager insists then i think you should try to persuade your manager however possible.. Do it my any means..

I think your HR is certainly right and you have to persuade your manager as that is the only way to get out of this situation...

If he is not answering your calls and mails properly then you meet him during the office hours or go and meet him at his house..Tell him your problem.. Tell only what is the truth and give him the real reason for not wanting transfer..

I am sure he will help you.. Best of luck.. Thanks

    Dear Aspirant,

First of all you must know that transfer of the employee is done according to need of the organisation. You are not supposed to get prior notice pertaining to transfer. It is the duty of the management to transfer of the employee as per the need of the firm/company/organisation/department.

Of course there are some conditions to consider the transfer of the employee. You can get your transfer cancelled on the basis of the medical certificate. You can give a representation directly to the manager HR along with the medical certificate for your any of the dependent family member who may be your child, wife or parent. In this case your transfer may be cancelled. If not meet the head of the organisation & request to get cancel your transfer.

    Hope for your positive result.

    Thanks.

    Ashok

I feel very sorry for your position. .you say that there are branches in your working concern namely at pune bangalore and hyderabad. . .making transfer from one branch to other branch is up to your manager and HR . .you may make a personal request to your manager regarding your transfer telling him about your difficulties in your work place if you get transfered from bangalore to pune. . Talk to him humbly about your family situations also. . If he is mercifull you will be in a safer side or else no other go. .you may come out of the job if your not interested in working at pune. .decide it yourself. Let us hope for the best. . .
