    How can I start my career in the Law field?

    I completed my 10+2 in Commerce stream. I am good debater and and have participated in national level debate competition. I am aiming to become an advocate. What course should I opt for next after my intermediate course to progress further in my aim to become an advocate.

    Hello Friend,

    Well, if you want to pursue Law then there is a great career waiting for you. You have to sit for 5 year B.A LLB course from any university in India. After the completion of the course you can practice as an advocate. the following is the eligibility criteria for LLB course,

    1. You must passed your 10+2 examination with 45% from any board in India.
    2. Your age should not be more than 20-22 years.
    3. You must be a citizen of india.


    There are many universities in India such as Delhi university, Calcutta university where you can pursue your LLB course.

    Hello Aspirant,

    You have very good aim.You can be an advocate provided you ge 5 years integrated law degree couse.this course is available through an All India competition basis called CLAT,common law admission test.If you compete this entrance exam,you can get admission in law course for LLB in any of the 11 national law college.

    Apart from those national law university,you can also get admission in some of other colleges on the basis of marks or entrance exam.After getting the LLB degree,you will have to require to register your name & qualification in the bars Association to practice as an advocate or lawyer.
