    How can I boost the company morale after some layoffs without spending too much?

    There have been recently some budget cuts in the office and they have resulted in layoffs. The morale of the office is generally very low. Are there any low cost activities that I can organize in the office to boost the employee morale?

    hello,
    yes there are so many activities that can boost your employee:
    -->motivate them
    -->inspire them with examples
    -->try to discuss the hassles
    -->find out the solutions
    -->make ambiance cheerful by talks
    -->frank nature
    well all this has to be done by you, you need to make efforts, try to motivate them with your talks.
    Good luck

    Hi friend

    The recession period has certainly hit the market hard and most of the companies are suffering the same fate as yours. Ofcourse the employees in your company will certainly be down in such a situation due to no security of their job.So thus their morale is down in these hard times due to the layoffs happening in your company and they certainly need a boostup as you say. They of course will be afraid of losing their jobs anytime in times such difficulty. Thus you should ensure them that their jobs are safe and they should not worry about it.

    You should explain to them ther reason behind such cutoffs.Give them the genuine reason and don't give them any false hopes. Then this will certainly boost their morale up once they are assured of their job security in such difficult times. Then they will do their wirk with more determination and this will be surely seen in their performance.

    You can also organize some small competitions for them like the best performer for the month, the best dressed candidate, most well spoken candidate etc. In this you can award the winner with some cash prize which you can afford. This will surely give them the needed encouragement and the will to proceed further.

    Good luck
