How can an employee apply for PF if he has left the organization without any intimation?

We had one employee who had left the organization without any intimation. He had taken leave for 1 day and never came back. After 2 months he has come for PF withdrawal. Is it possible to apply for PF if an employee’s leaves the organization without any intimation?

Re: How can an employee apply for PF if he has left the organization without any intimation?

    Hi,

PF is deducted for the welfare of emplyees afte their retirement or resignation

In this case since the employee left the company without proper notice

Its absolutely right to stop the pending arrear amount until he serves for the company again or as decided by the company

Company has to decide what has to be done for the employee whether filing case against him or whatever

So the employee has to do as the company said to get the PF amount

Else legal case filing in consumer court has to happen so that further processes will be taken care by them

    Thanks @@@@

    Hi Friend,
As employee has left without notice you should have filed absconding legal notice against him.
If you have not done so it is completely your organisation decision how you want to process about his relieving.
Because in PF withdrawal form employee needs to mention relieving date as well as cause of leaving organisation.
If you have already stopped paying employer PF contribution to EPF and ready to process his relieving then you can help him to file his PF withdrawal.
