Re: How can the attrition rate calculation is done? Is it different for government employees?

    Hi,

As per my understanding attrition rate is the rate of movement of employees in the organisation...
it is the ratio of resignation with the average no of employees.

Say there are 17 resignation in Apr and Opening and closing employees are 547 and 538, then the attrition rate is 38%

    i.e. Average employee is (547+538)/2 = 543
    Hence attrition is 17/543*100*12 = 38

    Hope this is clear...
