    How to calculate the salary of the employee who is leaving the organization after 15 days?

    One of our employees has applied for resignation. He had applied on 15th of April and his last date is 15th may. However he will get April month of salary. How should we calculate the salary of the employee for another 15 days? Should we pay him whole month of salary or only 15 days is enough? Please suggest.

    He should be paid salary for only 15 days if his last working day was 15th May.

    You need to just calculate the total salary that he is being paid each month and divide it by 31 days and than multiply it by 15 days.
    since he only worked for 15 days in MAY.

    Also if he has any leaves left in his account than if your company has policy to pay for unused leaves than he should be paid for that also
    If any dues are to be recovered from him , than that should be deucted from his 15 days salary.

    Hello dear, to calculate the salary of the employee who is leaving after 15 days you need to follow the steps which i am providing with an example.

    Suppose the monthly salary of the employee is RS 32000.

    So now Employee's salary = 32,000
    32,000 / 24 pay dates = 1333.33 (paid twice per month)
    Divide 1333.33 by the amount of days in the pay period to arrive at the daily rate.

    then once you get the daily rate just multiply it into 15 days and you will get the half month salary of the employee.

    It is not so difficult to calculate the salary for 15 days.

    Since the concerned employee has to get salary for 15 days in the month of may.

    May month is of 31 days.

    so the whole month salary is to be divided by 31=one day salary ,multiply one day salary by 15 days=salary of 15 days.

    Suppse the whole month salary is 15000,it is to be dividede by 31=483.87*15=7258/--

    The salary of employee who is leaving the organization after 15 days' of work the way of salary calculation will be as under:

    First ascertain which month he opt's to leave company.if it is the month of april then divide gross salary by 30 days then amount x15= amount will be due.suppose employee draws gross salary rs.30000/-now divide by 30days then one day salary will be 30000 divide by 30 result rs.1000/-per day then 1000x15=15000/-the employee who is leaving the organization after 15 days will get rs.15000/-only.

    HELLO SIRfirst of all you should check the joining letter's rule asc.t.c.gross selary.bond period.so you should a contact the company hr for resingnation rule.as selary generaly devideby total working days.if selary is cts basis then subtract it and multiply selary of one days to total days.then you will get a solution.thankyou

    Hi Friend,
    He should be paid only for 15 days (days he worked in the month). Generally once employee provide resignation salary needs to be stopped for same month.
    He should get the last month salary in Full and Final settlement (days he has worked, any claims, arrears, leaves etc will be calculate as part of Full and Final Settlement) within 45 days.

    Salary is paid only for the days which the employee has worked. The employer has the right to deduct the salary on non-working days. The same applies in your case, if the employee who has resigned had worked only 15 days, then you are liable to provide the salary of just 15 days but not the complete month.The salary will be calculated here as under-
    1. Suppose the monthly salary of the employee is Rs.31000.
    2. Then the 31000 will be divided by 31 days (Number of days in the month of may)
    3. The amount we received in STEP 2 will multiplied by 15.
    4. This is the final amount which must be given after deducting any kind of claims by the company.

    This is simple . once he is declared and accepted by the company to leave the job . Salary is considered on per day basis . As long as he works till the notice period salary is given . In this case 15 days of salary that is half of the salary should be given to the employee

    Ensure whether the employee has completed all pending loan , advance amount if any

    Divide the per moth salary amount by 15 and give the resulting amount

    Settle all the pending arrear amount to the employee

    After the notice period ends, provide the exp certificate an NOC certificate to the employee

    PF deduction should be stopped on the following month and should be transferred to new company if any or granted as requested by the employee

    Dear Friend!

    You need to pay salary 15 days only if in between there is any leave by employee , you can deduct salary. If employee has submitted in written his/her reason to leave the job. In other way you must fallow the company's terms and conditions when any employee leave the job whatever is mentioned employee's offer letter.
