Are holiday structures different for physically challenged candidates?

Physically challenged candidates are given preferences all over whether itís a private organisation or a government one.Alongwith the other benefits are these people given benefit of holidays provided by the employer other than a normal employee?

    Hi friend....

    >>As the work load will be same for both physically challenged and normal people.

    >>Holiday structures are also same for both the people.

    >>The difference lies in the allocation of the posts.

    >>Just reservation is provided to them but there won't be any difference in the holiday structure.

    Thanking you

    Keep Smiling

Dear you are right that there are so many types of reservation and relaxations provided to the physically challenged candidates as :

Examination Time - General students will get 2 hours and they will get extra 40 minutes after 2 hours

Relaxation in Upper age - 10 years upper age relaxation in various competitive exams

Reservation in jobs recruitment - Each state government decided separate reservation and that is more than all other reserved categories - SC/ST/OBC etc.

Passing marks in competitive exam - General student will be demanded for more than 70% where PWD/PH/PC candidates are required only for 50% marks

So this is reservation and relaxation for various parts of career for Physically Handicapped candidates but if you think that there will be any special holiday for you then you are going wrong because public holidays are same for everyone and PH candidates are also the member of society so they will celebrate the holiday and if there is any festival and holiday is decided then also you will get the same time and days which is given to all other employees as if government announced holidays for 7 days in all over India then all PH and non-PH candidates will only be allowed for 7 days then they have to come at work from the next day and same thing applied to all PWD/PH/PC candidates and there is no difference in holidays and you should remember about it when you get it

Remember that there is no extra or separate holidays given to the PH candidates by central government of India but you will get various facilities in job including accommodation etc. so you should take advantage of those facilities provided by the government and know your effort that what you can in future and do not think about holidays because everyone has to work and all companies and organizations provide work to each candidate according to their ability so you should not worry and just keep working

    All the best

No,i don't think that holiday structures are different for physically challenged candidates. There are relaxations for eligibility criteria for a job but after that everything is almost same for both normal and physically challenged candidates. In some organisation you may have some extra holidays but in most cases holidays are almost same. You can get other advantages like medical insurance, accommodation etc.So best of luck for your future.
