Hate my boss for being so harsh on my friend

I am working in a MNC. Just few days back , my boss spoke very rudely to my friend in front of everyone for some mistake which he had done in his project and also made fun of him. He was almost in tears. I really felt very bad for him. I hate my boss for that incident and really want to teach him a lesson. How to teach my boss a lesson?

    Hello,

Work with utmost discipline, dedication and determination so that
none can say anything about you. This is the best possible way to
answer such type of people. Peple like your boss don't know anything
about behaviour or respect. But people like them should be punished in
a diffrent way . Whenever he praises you remain silent. Simetimes silent
    speaks a lot.

    Bye,

    Hi friend,
This was not fair on your part to ridicule your friend in front of everyone. He must have felt very embarrassed. And your boss probably took undue advantage of his seniority and fired him that way. Unjustified it is. Tell your friend to go and talk to the boss and tell him though he made a mistake but what he did in return was no less than a mistake. The way he reacted wasn't mature enough. And tell him to work better next time onwards and give the boss no chance to point at him only. This will make up for the damage done in the eyes of the boss and the colleagues who were there when he got a scolding.
I understand you felt very bad at this incident but i think you should not interfere and let it be between your friend and the boss. Pester your friend to just not sit and forget it. Because this way it can be repeated in the future.

    All the best

    Hello,

First and foremost you have to keep this in mind that both of you work in a private organisation,so you cannot afford to do anything that might put your job at stake.Any senior excutive in an MNC has got a lot of pressure on him,for which it is a real difficult task to keep the calmness of the mind. But that doesnot mean that he will misbehave with anyone and everyone.Your friend must learn from his mistake and make it a point not to repeat again in future.I will suggest you both to forget what has happened and start afresh with a new vigour. As teaching a boss a good lesson, might put both of you in danger. At the most you can make a complain against him to the higher authorities regarding his rough and rude behaviour.Higher authorities will inquire into it and take care of the rest on the basis of such complain.

    Dear Aspirant,

Have patience.Your feeling is not bad.But it is a professional career where every one is tied up with others. There is a hierarchy in the administration where the direction starts from the upper end to the lower end.Of course it is not fair to use rude language by your boss to his subordinate. But here you have to see his nature as a whole.Whether he is a harassing man or helping in nature, but rough in talking only.If it is so,he is a good man.It is generally found that the person who is speaking sweetly & politely is harmful in nature by pen & paper.Others who through their anger by shouting, don't spoil others in pen & paper.

Here you should not be too excited. You should see your friend's attitude.Being a pvt.company, you may be harassed & punished if you show your leadership alone in the company. So if you want to teach him a lesson, you should have support of all colleagues. So get together, have a joint representation signed by all the colleagues & then lodge a complain against your boss to his boss.

But you should remember that Boss is always right. He is like your guardian.Being in pressure he might have lost his temper & talked rudely. So see & consider all the situations & then move ahead.

    Thanks & good luck.

    Hello Aspirant,

This is the main difference in govt.& pvt.jobs.There is more bossism in pvt.job than the govt.jobs.But in fact you can not have piece in mind when you don't have good term with your boss.First of all you should see the mental position of your friend.See what mistake & why has been committed by your friend. What is the consequent of the that mistake? If there is any heavy loss to the company,it is quite natural to get angry by your boss. You know when any one is in anger mood,he/she can do anything.

So you should know how is your boss?Is he not helpful? If he is not helpful & cooperative,It must be complained to your boss's boss about the rude behaviour of your boss.He may be asked show cause & there may be a suitable action against him.

When your boss is helpful & cooperative,It is not necessary to lodge any complain against him, because It is the human nature to get angry if the situation worsen.

So see the situation & move forward.

    Good luck.

    Hi,

Teaching a lesson is not a right thing to do....you can teach...but we have to think about the permanent solution of the same...

This is common to all most all the organisation that some bosses are there, the behaviuor is not enough standard as a good manager.... some time they fail to maintain the official system....they forgot whom to say what, where to say, what to say, why to say, and how to say etc...

This is a general problem in the private organisations...you can't overrule in most of the time... however the thing you can privately discuss with HR head....who should know... but remember don't give anything in writing if you want to continue work there...
