    Got terminated by employer unnecessarily

    I got selected for assistant manager at a private bank through competitive exam. I was on my PB period for a year got an appreciation letter too for successfully completion of my PB period. After 2 months of completing my PB period without any prior intimation and proper reason the employer asked me to leave the job and they just given me the time of 7 days. What should I do?

    Hi,

    Once the probationary period is over . Its like your permanent in the company

    Dismissal will happen under crime offence , illegal practice in office .

    So you can ask the employer the reason for your termination

    If proper response is not given , you can report to police and file case in consumer court on this issue

    Police will enquire the case and Judge decision on the case is final

    If no valid proofs are not given for termination , company will have to bear the punishment

    So nothing to worry unless you committed any mistake

    Plan well and proceed on this

    Dont lose patience . Dont get tempered

    Handle things smoothly

    Each company has right to hire the employees and also to terminate them.
    But yes rules and regulations are in place in all Companies.

    In Private and MNC Banks where key to continue in the job is the revenue which you earn for the bank each month.
    Normally you have to earn upto 4 times your monthly salary as revenue for the bank.

    Now in your case, you have every right to know the reasons as to why you have been asked to leave the Bank.

    You need to approach the HR Manager of your region and request him to let you know why you are being asked to leave.
    Ask him is there any compliance issue or performance issue.

    If you do not get satisfactory answer from him , you can approach the National HR Head of your bank, giving all the details and request him to respond .
    While writing to the National Head of HR copy that mail to the CEO of the company as well.

    You will definitely get reply from them.

    In every private banks and companies, the employee is generally terminated for the following reasons-
    • Poor performance.
    • Any kind of misconduct.
    • criminal Offence.
    • And found in any wrong fact from your documents.

    • The bank has no right to terminate you without providing the proper reasons.
    • You must directly talk with the branch manager of your bank, and know the reason behind.
    • If they doesn't provide any answer, you must inform the matter to the head office.
    • At last, you may also proceed to labour court to take a legal action against the bank.

    Private companies has the right to terminate their employees at anytime as they have signed a bond with you..

    There are various reasons for firing a employee..

    --Breaking the rules..

    --bad performance

    --Criminal offence

    --secret information or documents leaked.

    SO these makes the employer to terminate their employee after giving him a costly training..

    He can do it without any reason..

    You can do is ask the higher authorities for the reason..

    If they dont answer yo then you can go to the labour court....

    Dear Aspirant,

    Really it is very sad to know about your position.You are a victim of the monopoly of the management.In this case you need to have patience & should not loose your temper.You must contact the authority who asked you to leave the job & ask the reason in writting.Also you must contact the superior authority/appointing authority & explain the situations In detail.Make a request to allow you to continue the job.If you don't get the proper result,you can send a pleader notice to the appointing authority.But be sure of your performance.

    Of course,the management has the right to terminate your services,but there are the ways to do it which are not being followed by the management in your case.The management should first ask you the explanation for any mistake committed by you & if the management is not agree with your explanation,it should give you warning with some action taken against you.For dismissile you should have been given one to three months notice or they should pay the salary in lieu of the said period.

    Private banks hold rights to terminate or hire their candidates on the basis of particular exceptions but as there is no fault from your side and you are were still terminated, I would recommend you to talk to the manager and ask the reason. As you are manager already, you can reach to CEO or write to chairman also. If they are still applying their monopoly, you can go and file a case.

    Hi,

    I would like to let you know that while you are working on the Probation period you are not tagged as permanent employee of the company. Once you probation period get over , you will get the confirmation letter that from now you become a permanent employee of the company.
    Only if any illegal activity has been done by you against the company rules, or you get involved in any crime offence, in that case only they can ask you to leave the job instantly.

    If you are honest and loyal at your side, then you can ask the employer about the reason behind your termination. If they not giving you any response clearly, you have a right to fight and either you can report to police or file in the consumer court or also file the RTI for the same.

    By doing any of these activities, if you are honest then you will get the positive result for you. So you please donít take any tension, just file the above mentioned things, you will get a fair decision. Have patience as it will take time.

    Hi.. I think its very bad on the part of your employer that he should terminate you from your job without any valid reason..

    I think first of all you should try to find out from your manager or HR dept the proper explanation for your termination..If there is some genuine reason then you cant do much about it.. Try to see that it doesnt happen in the future..

    Also even if they dont give any proper explanation or some not so genuine reason then also you cant do much about it as its their will who they want to keep or not..Or maybe due to recession they are laying off employeess.. Its just bad luck nothing else..

    So dont worry much.. Believe in your abilities and try searching for a new job..

    Hello friend,
    its totally unfair if they treat you like this you have completed your probation period and now you are a permanent employee of that company so they cant terminate you like that .they have to show proper reason for that and you can ask them the reason with proof for your termination. if they dont listen then complain to the higher authority to take action or look into the matter .if nobody gives the reason you ask for reason through RTI act or else go to police afterall this is the question of your career so dont leave the job like this.
