Is it good to sound our voice in Group Discussion when other are talking? How to approach the Group Discussion if someone else keep on talking?

I recently attended a Group Discussion which was the second round in the selection and there I was not able to talk properly at all because a particular person was talking again and again without giving any chance and so I have no option to be selected. My question, is it good to sound our voice in Group Discussion when others are talking? because I was afraid to stop him and talk feeling that will be bad but most of them are doing it. Can you please tell me how to handle these type of situation?

In an Group Discussion , if you do not Speak at all your chances of clearing the GD round will be difficult.
In a Group Discussion, if someone is continuosly speaking and not allowing anyone to speak, than in that case, you have to interrupt and put across your point about the topic.

You should not interrupt each and every speaker, but only those speaker, who just keeps on speaking.
You just need to raise your Hand and tell that what you think about that topic.

Also Make sure that you point should be concise and to the point about the topic.
The Co-Ordinator of the GD looks at the point put across by the speakers and the confidence level of the candidates.

Also if you could not get a chance to speak than you can always conclude the topic as you have listened to all the mebers and thus conclude the GD by putting across main points in brief by all the members.

The objective of group discussion is to examine the candidate's smartness, potentiality and knowledge. So in a group discussion be prepared and be attentive, listen carefully to what others are talking about and as they keeps on talking there will be a point for which you know you would explain better, grab that chance and don't hold back. There is nothing wrong in stoping some one while he is talking in a group discussion but you should come up with a better explaination. If needed you can also talk against some one claiming that his informations are void.
In a group discussion never hold back for others to finish talking but try to be the leader yourself. Its a common situation where you will come across poeple who never stops talking but don't worry all that they talk about are not unbeatable or faulty, so just be attentive and keep looking for a gap to break in.

    Hey
Donot be too afraid to raise your voice in group discussion. if a single person was tooloud and was not giving a chamce to others to apeak , you should have been loud enough ti interrupt him. But before speaking just make sure you have a valid and legitimate point to speak. You should be confident while speaking and should complete your statement even if someone is trying to cut you by interefering in what you speak. Try using some gestures by hands also to be on a little stronger side. Use the body language techniques, try to be dominant on others or else no One will let you speak in GD. Most important of all be very very confident.
