Your Joining date is 1st of July 2012.
Salary cycle for most of the companies is from 1st to 31st or 30th depending on the number of days a month has.

So in july you worked for 31 days and you was paid salary on 7th aug 2012,this salary was for 31 days of July.

7th of every month is the date when Your company pays salary to the staff for the previous month

now if you work for full month of august than on 7th sep you will be paid salary for aug 2012

and suppose you resign from the company after serving the notice period and your last working day is 16th of the month, than company will pay you the salary for 16 days of that month.

Please understand that all companies do not pay the salary for a particular month on the last date of the month
some companies like yours pay it on 7th or 5th or 3rd of next month

    Hi,

Ya for sure the company has to pay you for the 7 days of work . You can request the HR to settle your accounts completely on resignation and the same will be made by the HR . If the company doesnt do that then its liable to make a complaint against the company in consumer court where further actions will be taken against the company . State the Joining date to the HR and ask for the 7 days of work . Talk politely to the Hr and do the needful to you .

    Thanks !!!

In software comapnies , all day is counted as paid day.Every day in the company counts your salary amount .So you need not to be worry about that.

You have to contact your concerned HR for this purpose and get confirmed aout this fact .Make sure your salary cycle is 1 to 30th or 31st of every month

.If thIf e company doIf esnt do that then its liable to make a complaint against the company in consumer court where further actions will be taken against the company

Now it's depends upon the company policy regarding the salary. Generally salary is paid for every day you worked. So salary is paid for extra seven days you will work. However if you give your resignation on 30th or 31st as the case may be, you will get the full month salary on 7th of next month. However if you doesn't get the salary for the days you worked, you may contact the HR to get the credit of your salary. At last, you should approach the Court by filling a case against the company to get the salary.
