    Hi............,

You already stated that you want to be a lecturer in Chemistry.
Its good and a good scope for you.

    Suggestions--->
    * If you want to do a research in chemistry then do Phd.
    * It also has a wide scope in future
    * See I think chemistry has a brighter line than Computer science.
    * At present there are less good chemistry teacher but more computer teacher.
    * So go ahead and love chemistry.
    * If you had a interest in computer then you can opt for that line.

    Thanks

    Hello,

You have mentioned that you have secured 66% marks in your 12th standard examination. So this a very average marks that you have got.Your marks is not upto that standard where you would be given a secured seat in Chemistry hons. Now a days people do get 98% marks,so it is obvious that they will be given 1st preference.Chemistry hons.is not an easy subject. And the pressure is also much more than other subjects.I think Computer science will be a better option for you.Chemistry has a good prospect as a research subject. But I think if you take chemistry,it will be a bit burden for you.2ndly ,whether will be given chemistry by any college with your 66% of marks,is also uncertain. So,I will suggest you to take up Computer Science.Job options will be more in this subject.

    Hi,

    Scope of Chemistry is huge
    ∑ Biochemistry 34%
    ∑ Organic Chemistry9%
    ∑ Analytical Chemistry

    ∑ Inorganic Chemistry 27%
    ∑ Physical Chemistry
∑ Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering 21%
    ∑ Macromolecules 9%

But compared to Computer Science, then CS holds the upper hand.

This is really an excellent field to have opportunities both in software companies and higher studies. As computing is extensively applied to almost every walk of life it created massive jobs for Computer students. On the same time more demand and application kept it research funding alive attracting many students to opt for higher studies.

I'm sending you a list of Top 20 IT companies in India.
