Friend telling me not to attend the interview as there is a lot of bias being practiced

I have just completed my graduation and now looking for a job. I recently got an opportunity in one of the leading companies and have the interview for it after 5 days. But my friend, when he came to know about it, is telling me not to attend the interview as there is a lot of bias being practiced in the company and thus the work atmosphere is not good. Now I am really in a dilemma whether to attend the interview or not. Please guide me in the right direction.

    Hi aspirant

If what your friend is telling you is true then you should definitely not opt for this company as the working conditions are definitely not good there due to the bias being practiced in the company. But if you don't believe your friend then you should yourself conduct a research on this company. You should collect information from the net and the best source for such a information would be to talk to the employees of the company. You can ask them regarding the working conditions of the company and I am sure that will give you an idea whether to attend the interview or not.

So friend even if you don't want to join this company based on the bad work atmosphere, you can still go for the interview just to have more experience and to test yourself. You will certainly gain something from the interview which will come handy to you in the future. But of you should only take up the job in this company if the working conditions are good here and if there is enough growth opportunities for the employees.

I hope you understand my point. Good luck and Thanks

    Hello Friend,
You just have completed your graduation and the first thing you need is a job to settle at and earn.may be your friend have some prior knowledge regarding that company or whatever he is telling is mere rumor but you need to atleast appear the interview.i dont know why you are thinking about the afterwards situation first just clear the interview .by the time of joining you will have sufficient time to do research about that company.i will suggest dont just beleive mere talking of some one just because he is your friend.do google search about that company and you will get to know a lot of the thing regarding that company.then decide whether you want to join but the need of the hour is prepare hard ,attain the interview and clear it.
    Best of Luck.

    Hello,

I will suggest you to go nd give the interview. This because wht is friend i telling may be true or may not b true, noboy is confirmed about it.The actual situation will come to out when you will appear for he interview.Take it seriously and give your best.Meanwhile if you come to know abouttghe genuine facts and dont like them, then you will simply forget bout the interview asnd he company. But latr onif you find that there is no uch isue, then you will have the opportunity of joining it ,so you dont have to repent for it.
