    First annual performance review for start up company, not clear about current level of employee competencies

    Ours is a fresh start up company about to conduct the first annual performance review. Our team members vary from freshers to experienced ones. Fresher mainly handle the technical aspect of software development which keeps the companyís cash register ringing. The experienced team takes care of management and sales. I need a clear guidance on identifying the team members for pay hike and promotion. Please suggest an elaborate doís and doníts for the situation.
