I am in my third semester of MBA. I will be sitting for the placement drive by the end of this year. My seniors are suggesting me to improve my resume so that my chances of being placed are enhanced. Please suggest what extra curricular activities or short term courses can be pursued by me to ensure that my chances of getting placed are increased.

Variety is the spice of life. MBA is a two year full time course. After the completion of
your MBA you will be asked to solve situation permanantly so you need to know every
thing. Extra curricular activity will enhance many skills hidden within you. These qualities
will be beneficial in the long run. So you should add extra curricular skills. Similary you can
also add some short term courses on your resume. But these courses should be relevent for
your career.

All the extra curricular activities and the workshops or the events attended by you always give you an extra edge over others at the time of placements. They're very helpful in getting you the placements as well. If you are giving an interview and if have done such things, it differentiates you from the other people and chances of your placements rises.
