    Executives misuses out of station duty allowance

    The human resource department on record has stated that behaviorally anchored rating scales(BARS) which is applied to judge employee’s behaviour. A group of sales executives have been filling fake distance and out-of-station allowance forms. It is a wrong practice and may set wrong examples. Please suggest what I should do.

    This is a serious issue not only for your firm but also for the employees.It can not only set a bad example for the rest of the employees but also can also tempt others to follow the same.It also increases the expenditure of your company.Hence you should take steps to control the situation otherwise it can increase in future and lead to economic losses.

    -First call the concerned senior executive.
    -Show the statement of the human resource department.
    -Ask him to show cause for such act and give him time for that.
    -Discuss with him and listen to his talk carefully.
    -Get to know the real truth behind such act and warn him.
    -State the consequences that he has to face if such act is repeated.
    -Ask him to submit an undertaking for this cause and state that he will abide by the rules of the company and never repeat such act.
    -Get an oral assurance also from him regarding this issue and request him to not repeat it again.

    You should definitely do something in this rehard and not let those executives be left unpunished after commitiing such grave mistakes and trying to mislead the management in this way. If these employees are not loyal to their company and are trying to cheat it in this way then you should have no reason to spare them. You should teach them such a lesson that they never do such a thing in future. They are also setting bad examples for others as you have mentioned.

    So friend you should call all such employees to your office and tell them that you have found out that they have been the company's perks for their own selfish motives and thus need to be taught a lesson. They have been found filling fake distance and out-of-station allowance forms and thus cheating the company in this manner. They are setting a bad example for others too and definitely need to be punished. and if they comtinue this they will be immediately terminated from their services.

    You can punish them by asking them for compensation for the same. Good luck. I hope your executives learn a good lesson
