Employee not ready to accept his termination

I am a manager of a small software company. Recently I gave a termination letter to one of the employees. He had been previously warned for his misbehaviour with the seniors but he didnít listen and thus we were forced to remove him. Now he is not ready to leave and is bombarding us with false accusations. How to deal with such an employee?

    Hi aspirant

You should certainly not entertain such employees and your decision to terminate him was definitely right as you have warned him earlier. But now as he is behaving weirdly bombarding you with false accusations you should call him to your office and talk to him. Tell him that you warned him earlier also to behave properly with the seniors. As he didn't listen to you . so he has lost his job now. He should stop bombarding you with such false accusation as he also knows that the mistake is his . If he doesn't stop and leave the company immediately , you would be forced to call the police to intervene. So its better for him to leave with respect rather than being dragged out.

I am sure your employee will definitely realise his mistake and thus will surely leave your company himself as he will be afraid of the police intervention for sure. In this way he will learn a good lesson . Good luck

Re: Employee not ready to accept his termination

    Hello ,
Your being the authorities do have the power of terminating employees from yoru firm but on solid grounds and reasons.
Now , as you said your employee had behaviorial problems and did not know how to talk to other employee is
fairly a problem for the office environment .

The fact that he was warned before for doing the same and his
repeadtedly doing so shows how less he cared about the authorities .

If he is bombarding you with such false accusation , you should call him into your office and have a conversation
regarding the same that you do not fit the environment and if he still doesnt understand you have
assit the security in your campass OR for greater pressure the police to take control which may land him in greater trouble .

    Suggestion could be that ::

    • The company can mantain a official record of each employee which will can showed that the time as proof so false accusation
does not come in the picture .

Hopefully the employee will realise his fault .
    Thank you .

Re: Employee not ready to accept his termination

    hello Sir,
There is no choice for a candidate to reject or accept the termination.its the decission of the management to terminate one employee and if doesnot perform or misbehave in company and he cant do anything about it after termination ,he should have behaved properly after the first warning.
no as he is terminated ask him to deposit his ID card and leave the company else you can ask the securities to escort him to the gate.
you can show him the bond or agreement letter which he must have signed when he joined the company ,that any type of misconduct will lead to termination and if he creates any more nuisances then you can take legal action against him.
so there is no choice for the candidate other than to leave the company.
    Thank You.
