    Are the employee benefits optional or mandatory by LAW?

    I want to the know that the employee benefits like sick leave, casual leave or other retirement benefits which are provided by a firm are optional or mandatory by Law? Does it vary from state to state?

    Dear Aspirant,

    See the employees need leave in order to do the personal works.

    The employee benifits are available to avail it in need.

    It is not necessary to utilise the sick or casual leave compulsory.

    If you require to avail it,avail it Otherwise it will be lapsed.

    Your sick leave will be accumulating but the casual leave will be lapsed at the end of current year.

    The employee benifits vary from state to state,company to company & govt. to govt.
