Employee begging me to stop his transfer

I am working as a manager in a MNC. Recently we had to transfer one of the employees to another state. But after getting this news he reacted in a very weird manner and literally begged me to stop his transfer. I am feeling very bad for him but I am bound to follow the orders of the higher authorities. How to deal with such a situation?

    Hi aspirant

It is good to see your concern regarding your employees because most of the people in today's times only think about their own selfish gains and never have time to think about anyone else. You are really a gem of a person for your morals . You should be proud of yourself. As for the solution to this problem of yours, you should definitely do something to help that employee. I can definitely understand your restrcitions as this decision has been taken by the higher authorites but you should definitely do something in this regard.

You should have a talk with your higher authorities and thus try atleast once. Tell them the employee who they have decided to transfer another state does not want to get transferred and was literally beging you for stopping his transfer. You felt very bad for him and thus have to come to them if they could find a solution to it.

Now if they ask for the reason for the same, you could call that employee to the office and then he would tell them the reason himself. I hope they sympathise with him and thus stop his transfer. and you too would be satisfied that atleast you tried your best.

    Good luck and thanks

It is really sad to see you in such a condition because you are in such a position where you want to help the concerned employee but you are fastened by the professional rules and regulations. It is to be kept in mind that you have no hand over certain decision and can amend them.Your employee should also realize this.

-Call the employee for an discussion.
-Listen to his problems first on getting transferred.
    -Express sympathy for his condition.
    -Explain your condition too.
-Try to make him understand that certain things are not in your hand.
-Give him assurance that you will talk to the higher authority regarding this.
-After talking to the higher authority, you can ask the concerned employee to go to the head quarter.
-Ask him to request the management to change their decision.
-Ask him to submit a letter for this cause expressing his problems to stop his transfer.
-After doing all this, his transfer can be stopped.

It is sensible to ascertain your concern relating to your workers as a result of most of the folks in today's times solely trust their own stingy gains and ne'er have time to trust anyone else. you're extremely a gem of someone for your morals . you must be pleased with yourself. As for the answer to the present drawback of yours, you must undoubtedly do one thing to assist that worker. I will undoubtedly perceive your restrictions as this call has been taken by the upper authorities however you must undoubtedly do one thing during this regard.

You must have an interview along with your higher authorities and therefore attempt at least once. Tell them the worker UN agency they need determined to transfer another state doesn't wish to urge transferred and was virtually begin you for stopping his transfer. You felt terribly unhealthy for him and therefore got to return to them if they might realize an answer thereto.

Currently if they kindle the rationale for a similar, you may decision that worker to the workplace and so he would tell them the rationale himself. I hope they sympathies with him and therefore stop his transfer. and you too would be happy that atleast you tried your best.
you same to the worker to write down Associate in Nursing application to the upper authorities describing concerning The matter he baby-faced if the transfer can happen..
Then when you've got to send this application to the upper authorities and even you've got to speak to the upper for that worker and same that this worker can baby-faced heap of drawback if the transfer occur..

I think you'll be able to raise the your worker drawback.
Your worker drawback real you must suppose the her transfer.
you must continuously facilitate to the your workers.

I believe your workers solicitation thus you'll be able to stop the transfer and opt for the another worker.
you'll be able to manage your higher authorities .
you'll be able to justify the worker drawback with higher authorities.

I believe undoubtedly your higher authorities support you.
thus you'll be able to stop the transfer .

Re: Employee begging me to stop his transfer

Respected sir when you are bound with the orders and rules then you may not do anything in this case but there is a hope for that employee because that employee is being transferred to another state not to another district or city in any particular state that is why this thing will definitely be unacceptable for that person and that employee may be married and living with entire family and his children are studying currently so this will definitely create a problem for him because shifting is not easy to another state with entire family and if he is not married and does not live with family even then you should think about his request because being shifted in another state is not possible because no one has experience of living outside of their area and this will generate so many problems for him so first of all you must consider his problem as real because he was begging from you and being as manager in the company, this is your responsibility that you care about the problems of every single employee including personal problems

You are the manager of a branch and your company gave you this post because you deserve and company respect you and your thoughts and ideas that is why you are the Manager so you must try to do something means you should call that employee and tell him the way and your problem that you can not do anything but may suggest you and you should suggest him that go to the head office of the company and bring your transfer letter and you also should write a letter about your problem and mention the proper cause that why don't you want your transfer to another state and problem should be genuine and accurate then only it may be considered in a positive manner because there is no much time left for your transfer so hurry up

Before he go to the higher authorities or head office, you should contact to the chairmen of the company and support that candidate and about the cancellation of his transfer and you should request for your employee and this will not harm your reputation, this will show how polite you are in your life and mention the cause and I am sure that they will definitely understand and think about your argument and one employee will be happy because of you and you may also come in the same situation so employees may help you so think about the help of that person and do whatever you can

    All the best

    Hi,

In such a situation , you must atleast try once for your worker.
You must make a meeting with the higher authorities.
Explain them that why that worker doesn't want to get transferred.

There may be problems faced by the worker by changing the state.
He may have stay away from his family and many more problems may be there for him.
Generally, changing the state is a big thing for a employee if he has no relatives in that place.
May be he looses his job and cannot go to another state.

As he is your employee you must help him.
The employees have hope and trust on there managers, that they will surely help them.
And you can for sure try once for him.

You can also call the employee to meet the higher authorities and explain them the reason for not wanting transfer.

    Good luck
