    What is the eligibility criteria for appointment as a district court judge in India?

    hi friend,

    eligibility criteria for judge in the district court of india:-

    1. the applicant must be practicing as an advocate.

    2. According to the article 233 of the constitution of india. It states that
    :-

    for the appointment of district judges:-

    1. appointment of the persons as the district judge or promotion can be made by the governer of the state in consultation with the high court exercising jurisdiction in

    relation to such state
    .

    2. a person not already in the service of the union or of the state shall only be eligible to be appointed as a district judge if he has been for not less than seven years

    on advocate or pleader and is recommended by the high court for appointment
    .

    as stated above in the article it is clearly stated that a person who is not in the union or the state service and has been advocate for minimum 7 years is eligible to be

    appointed as the district judge
    .

    You wana become judge for a district court in indai.
    SOME ELIGIBILTY CRETRAI FOR JUGDE:
    You practice advocate and then apply post for jugde you practise
    more and gain experience your eligibilty only valid 7 years only
    so you apply under 7 years its better for your jugde post
    you work hard and achieve goal all the best your future.

    Following are the eligibility for becoming a judge in the district court.

    1. You should be a practicing advocate.

    2. Should have more than 7 years of practice.

    3. You should be an Indian citizen.

    4. You should not have more than 1 wife.

    5. You should have good character.

    6. You should not have any civil or criminal case pending against you and you should not have convicted by any of the courts in India.

    District court is very nice post in the law.but for that you have complete your graduation in law and also should have experience minimum 7 years.
    there is also upper and lower age restriction for district judge court.
    If you satisfy the below eligibility ,then you can apply for district court judge.

    Eligibility of district judge

    Age atleast 35 years and upper age limit 45 years on 1st january.There is 5 year relexation for sc/st/obc/woman.
    Education qualification : you must completed graduation in law with atleast 7 year experience in relevant field.

    1. You must have completed the degree in law or juris doctor.

    2. You must have work experience as layer.

    3. You must have crossed the age limit above or on 35 years.

    4. Born in india or indian citizen only.

    5. At least you should won some cases in court.
