During the night shifts, some of the employees come drunk and this disturbs the working atmosphere

I am the manager of a private firm. Recently it has come to my notice that during the night shifts, some of the employees of our company come drunk to the workplace and disturb the working atmosphere with their unruly behaviour. What action should be taken against such irresponsible employees?

    Hi
This is a very bad condition that you've been facing in your office. Office is a workplace and a dignified environment should be maintained in that particular place. Therefore you need to figure out that who all are the people which create such nuisance in the office after drinking, then you should generate the notice mentioning their names that if they found out doing the same thing again, they will straight away terminated.
    Gud luck

    hello,
first talk with them in friendly manner and say that we are getting disturbed by them and ask them to come in a usual manner as they come in the day time.if they come again with the same thing then you directly talk to your manager and ask him to take a small action so that he wont repeat it again.tell hin to give him a chance so that it may change him.if he continues then ask your manager to throw him out of his job.
    thank you..........

    Dear friend,

I think this is the not good
You can immediately complain to your higher authorities
You can remove this employees because this is the serious situation
So you can don't conduct night shifts
You can manage your staff and care

    Thanks!!!
    all the best.............

    Hello Aspirant,

It is highly possible to come to duty with drunken mood during night shift.I think there will be posting of some official who is incharge of the company during night shift.Get a report from the night shift incharge official & issue a memo to the concerned employees to submit their reply within three days after receipt of the memo.Definitely the employees won't accept their faults. But they will get fear to drink during duty hrs.

Meanwhile issue a notice & be pasted on the notice board stating clearly that It has come to the notice of undersigned that some of the employees have been reported to be on duty with drunken conditions & spoiling the working environment during night shift.A committee has been constituted of three members to watch such activities surprisingly & if any one found the necessary action will be taken against the culprits.

Hope you will be free of such problems.

    Good luck.

    Hello,

The company should not tolerate this sort of employees who come to office drunk and create chaos within the office premises. Company should not be reluctant to take strict action against them. If these employees are coming to office in this way, then what instance are they setting for the other employees? They are taking liberty of their freedom and misusing it. This directly hampers company's reputation and goodwill. Stern action should be taken against them. Identify those employees involved in it, and suspend them from office for a month without pay or punish them with huge fine.

This is not at all tolerable and you must need to be very strict about such things, this not only disturbs but also effects the reputation of the company. So as a manger you need to show them that the company shows complete intolerance about such things. You must call them and give them a show cause notice. Ask them why they are performing such irresponsible practices and ask them to give reason for it.

If possible at your level you must also suspend them without pay for few days as first and final warning. Even after that if they doesn't understand than there is no reason for continuing them and you must immediately take an action for there termination. You can also give them punishments like overtime etc. if you want think that they can be made disciplined.
