Does the ownership of changes lies in HR hands or the employer’s hands?

An HR Administrator is one of the important one who recruits the best employees who becomes an asset to company. So,being an important person an organisation, is he/she have the full authority of changing HR rules or the employer still owns the power?

    Dear Aspirant,

No doubt, the HR is an important employee of the company/organisation,but still he/she has limitation of the power.He/she is not all in all of the company/organisation.He/She has to work in the interest of the company/organisation as per the rules in force.He/She plays an important role for the recruitment of the employees to the company, but the criteria applied for the selection of the employees are approved in the board of directors meeting whose head is the owner of the company.

So,if an HR wants to amend any terms & conditions for selection of the candidates,he/she has to get it approved by the owner of the company otherwise the HR will start working independently which may creat conflict between the owner of the company & HR.

    Thanks & good luck.

    Ashok..

    Dear friend,

Company rules is not governed by the H/R administrator that can be changed whimsically. If your company is so cheap that as per H/R wishes can be changed everything like salary/leave/travelling,security of jobs then you must not work to that company.

The internal non important rules/discipline can be created by the H/R administrator for the smooth running of the company.

    Thank you,
