Does MBA in correspondence mode of education will be considered in IT sector?

I am planning to do MBA in correspondence. Currently working in a IT firm. Will the MBA in correspondence be considered for promotion and salary hike in my career or only regular MBA is accepted in IT sectors.

It is true that MBA correspondence course have no value compared to the regular MBA. But there are so many persons who are taking MBA for getting promotions and increments in the present company. It is going to help them also.

But according to me it will not help you when to join in a new company compared to the regular.

Most of the people who are working in government service take MBA through correspondence for getting promotion.
So in my opinion you should quit your present job and join a regular course since after some age we will not be interested to study.

You can get a job later also but you cannot study later because you mind and health will not allow you to do so.

    Yes friend,

You can join in IT sector jobs after completion of Master of business Administration ( MBA ) in distance or correspondence mode.
The all IT sector companies accept the MBA degree in distance mode.
But thing is the regular degree candidates have the higher preference.
Not only MBA all studies from distance mode are eligible for the IT sector jobs.

+++ Best correspondence colleges in india are :

    1. Annamalai university.
    2. Indira gandhi open university.
    3. Dr.B.R Ambethkar open university.
    4. Acharya open university.
    5. Andhra univeristy.

Though it's true that MBA from an regular course has a given more preference than the MBA from an correspondence course. But Master of Business Administration is an Post graduation course, which have it's own value, which always be considered no matters in which mode you have completed the same. You haven't mentioned in which Field you have done your MBA. If it's related to IT sector and to the kind of work in your company then only it will be considered. Generally when an company wanted to promote an employee they mainly consider your's working quality and performance during the year.Your's MBA qualification would be a plus point for you and also for the company.

    Hello,

No, there is difference between full time and correspondance MBA course. Full time MBA will fetch you
good job with very lucrative salary. On the other hand you will not get that kind of offer in correspondance
MBA. So, I would suggest you to do a corporate MBA rather than correspondance MBA it will give you more
weight in corporate world. All good B-Schools have corporate MBA. but if you still want to pursure correspondance
MBA then go for IGNOU, SMU etc.

    Bye,
